I went to the Wonderfest in Lousiville, Ky. today and lo and behold the first wave of these figures were there to promote the line. Got to see NOTLD Zombie, Rondo Hatton, Saucer Men, and actually purchased Teen Werewolf and Teen Frankie. If you live within a 2 hr. drive or so to Louisville, Its a great show, and you can get yours about a month or so ahead of the actual online order shipping date. The paint aps are a little dark, but they come with bases with the film logo on them and are generally cool.

btw... if you go back tomorrow, you can pick me up one of each :)

Yup. Gort and Klaatu were there too. The paint aps looked great on them. Gort towers over Klaatu and he is very wide. The NOTLD Zombie has very nice clothing. Maybe a little too nice. I am sure anyone who buys him, and isnt afraid of customizing, will weather the suit considerably. I met the guy who did the box art for the Rondo Hatton figure, and I gotta say the Rondo figure was the best of the lot. I didn't get it though because I just aint a big enough fan. It was a fun show.

Bought a King Kong resin model, the two Amok Time figures, a vinyl Bela Lugosi bust from Art Attack (by McVey), and a resin base for my Robby the Robot by X-Plus and left before I got too carried away. The sculpts for all of these look great. They just need a little tlc that some dude in China that's working for 8 hours for a bowl of rice just aint gonna give them.:angelsmil

no worries, at least i won't have to go through the trouble of cancelling all my preorders :D

very [/U][/I][/B] I met the guy who did the box art for the Rondo Hatton figure, and I gotta say the Rondo figure was the best of the lot.

It's funny how differently people see things. Of all the prototypes I have had a chance to see in person, I felt that Rondo and Zacherly the Cool Ghoul were the weakest in terms of likeness. Maybe it was because I was so impressed with the BSG sculpts. Rondo and Zacherly were nicely sculpted, just didn't seem to resemble the real people they represented as much as the other figures. I am anxiously awaiting the Gort and Klaatu and the BSG figures. I will try and find an excuse to purchase any figures Amoktime puts out in hopes that more Scifi themed figures are on the way. I will get a Rondo to go with my Rocketeer, and may get the Teenage Wolfman just for the jacket he's wearing.

looked today and didn't see them, they aren't listed in the guide as having a table either, was a bit bummed as I was interested in picking up some of this line but wanted to see them in person...oh well saved some money :)

Damn, about time... that's quite a sizeable delay. I think Gort and Klaatu were originally supposed to ship in May.

holy crap... I ordered each and every one of the products they're expecting on the 10th... And i think Sideshow is shipping something expensive that month too...

I pre-ordered some of these, cant afford all of them...grrrrrrr
Its great and horrible that all this stuff is getting product now ..LOL
