Supposedly Gort and Klaatu will be shipping in May... I think once those arrive we'll have a better sense if the figures will be worth the money.

The release of these is spinning my head too. Teenage Frankenstein just gets announced and is due in June, whilst Boris gets pushed back to December. It's amok time, no question.

These are some great licenses! Are they all independents, or were any of these films tied to a studio?

I was told that the Gort and Klaatu that are pictured in the ads and were displayed at Toyfair and NYCC were factory samples of the finished product, not preproduction prototypes. So for those two it would seem that what you see is indeed what you will get. Amoktime's figures are retailing for less than most other 1/6th scale figures on the market, so I'm hopeing for good quality for the money. And who else is willing to do a figure of Horror of Party Beach?

Teenage Frankenstein, Werewolf and Saucer men are not being produced by Amoktime, just sold by them. Last I heard the Boris Karloffs are still being tweaked by the sculptor. With the exception of the Rondo Hatton all the prototypes they have shown were done by the same two sculptors. They banged the sculpts out real quick, now they are refining them before they go into production. At least this is what I have heard from a reliable source.

Now there is one I never thought would get made. I will have to pick it up as well and the teenage werewolf.

I'm worried (along with Creecher) that they are going too fast!!! At this rate, I may have to start picking and choosing and leaving some behind, where if they released a bit more slowly, I would probably get them all.

Blimey they've annouced alot of figure.

I haven't seen alot of these film but i will be getting IT! The Terror From Beyond Space "IT Breathes, IT Hunts, IT Kills!" Use to watch this, jaws and world of the worlds with my cousins when i was a young lad.

Never ever thought there would be a version of this.

I think they might be pumpinmg stuff out a bit too fast as well, but they do have one thing going for them in that they're catering to a market that no one else is right now. It looks like they're trying to become what Sideshow was when they started.

Speaking of Killer Klowns, what happened to the Second klown that Sota was supposed to release? I really wanted him and the Leprechaun.

I think SOTA has become infamous for not getting stuff out. I'm guessing they'll be out of business before long.

I can agree with that, although I'm not in for every release so for me its not been much of an issue. So far I'm only for sure getting Blacula, NOTLD Cemetery Zombie and the Gort/Klaatu set. There are a few others I'm interested in, but probably not going to buy.

Kick ass!

Crap on a stick!!!! Blacula and IT!!! Screw the clowns, but Blacula and IT rule! :D

And these can't come out fast enough for me. Hell, sideshow isn't really catering to me lately... I just wish amoktime would have had something come out in the last 4 months...

Yep, too much too fast. I'm getting Gort and Klaatu :rock, Cemetary Zombie, Rondo Hatton, Teenage Werewolf, and now Blacula. Too cool. As Lonnie has said, I would get more if I could, so I'll have to wait and see how things pan out, and I may get the Boris, IT, the Saucermen, Teenage Frank, and whatever else they announce next week. In the words of Midnight Oil, "times are tough, we got the best of both worlds."
