Does "truth" equal what you guys prefer? Because thats what it sounds like. The bottom line Duncan didn't really sell that bad, modern Duncan is sold out. I'd say he sold slightly less then connor, and again, the Kurgan only sold 1,000 total. Would an origins Kurgan sell good? Yes, no doubt. But don't blame Duncan on the line failing. I just don't think there are enough Highlander fans that collect action figures that are willing to and like $50 1/6 figures.

Yeah, Dengar... I think that's the problem... Most Highlander fans don't collect figures.... And most of the ones who do... like the original only....

Yeah, I post sometimes at the offical message board, and trust me, the show is heavily favored over there, and Duncan is very popular. Any way I posted a thread about the sideshow figures and most people didn't even know about them, and these are hardcore fans of everything Highlander.

I could have sworn both Kurgans had an es of 1000. Obviously I was wrong.

So we should blame the people that like the TV show! I like where you are going with this Denger... very good points!!!

Duncan + Duncan Fans + Boring T.V Serie + Gnay Methos = Failed Highlander line.

Why get the facts get in the way of what you want to think. Should I point out that more Duncan's were sold then the Kurgan, and that he only sold slightly less then Connor? I mean I already did, but you seem so think maybe I need to type it a lot before you understand.

There were 500 of each Kurgan version - a total of 1000.

and thank you, way more the a 1000 Duncan's sold, so get over it, Duncan had nothing to do with the Highlander line "failing".

Yes he did, he had everthing to do with it. I think Adrian Paul was actually at Sideshow threatening people not to continue the line. Duncan is the root of all evil, and everything that is wrong in the world is wrapped-up in his evil little mind!

heh, ookay! I guess that makes sense, Adrian is badass and I'm sure the folks at Sideshow had no choice.

If they did this guy and not origins Kurgan I think the exclamation of outrage would be heard throughout the land.
No kidding. :lol

Really the only seller is the Kurgan. Even the Connor's haven't sold well.
The only reason Kurgan sold well is due to the fact that the ES was only 1,000 (standard and exclusive combined). If Connor or Duncan had an ES of 1,000 both would of sold out by now also.

I think it was lame of Sideshow to acquire a licence that didn't include the rights to Ramirez... That would be like getting star wars with no right to Alec Guiness' likeness. To me, this prolly spelled D O O M from the very start.
That was very stupid on SS's part.

I think overall that this is the real reason the line failed. Most "die hard" Highlander fans are more into movie props. They collect sword reproductions from the films not action figures.

I think Bonehead is on the money with all that stuff.

When I said the Kurgan was the only seller, I thought it had a higher edition size. If you see my later post I said that and admitted I was wrong.

The fact that Kurgan was able to sell out 1,000 pieces in a relatively short amount of time with that atrocious headsculpt says something about the popularity of that character. The 750 ES modern Connor and Duncan exclusives took forever to sell out.

No, they were just so annoyed by his lame presence that they eventually caved... can't blame them for that :monkey1

How is Adrian Paul lame? The man is a great actor and can really kick ass with a Katana in real life, unlike Mr.Lambert (in both cases).
