I'll post this again as dekadentdave was being a bottom burp and posting silly stuff - fair enough but lets stay on topic!

I have started some more research and it turns out that the only good reference on the net at the mo is the stuff that dboz found (thanks dboz). However, I have found a few covers from comic book artists who must have been working from archived visual reference materials. (I will post these up when I know how????) If we can find an email for these guys which is definately possible, i think they'd be more willing to help than say asking Neca to hand over some of their concept art for 7" figs. We could also use photography of the 7" figure and isolate each different element of the costume in Photoshop. Has anyone got these figs at all, who would be willing to take some pics? (front, back, left profile, right profile and possibly some more close-ups)

On a more intriguing note, I have found the name of the actual Kurgan Costume designer. He's an incredibly famous chap in his field called James Acheson, still trying to find contact details at the mo, but he would be THE MAN to go to. He has just finished working on Spiderman 3 as costume designer. Have found his management team, might have to go after him under the guise of a charity event!!

I have just heard back from Nick Maley and he has said he would be happy to answer questions. In case any of you don't know Nick Maley also worked on Yoda in the Original Trilogy.

There is some good info here, but because this thread is full of a lot nonconstructive back and forth, might I suggest starting a new Kurgan research thread and having this one locked down. The new thread could be only for research and constructive input and therefore hopefully free of name calling, and other ill will.
