Well it's definitely not futzed with by any means, but you can see in the back where there's no wiring like the 1/6, it just sticks out instead of drooping down. I also think part of it as that the hoods don't get enough excess in the back. One thing that stood out to me with Maul and the PT Jedi hoods is how they sagged quite low in the back, down to about just below the shoulder blades and these hoods don't quite do it. For the most part, I doubt I'll use it either though, the portrait is too cool to hide.

People would be foolish to cancel right now unless they were planning FlexPay, otherwise, I'd hold out until the final product shows and see what happens between now and then. it's already changed within a few weeks of announcement, Q3 is quite a ways away.
I imagine there are quite a few people like Shai who liked the proto but are now really disappointed at what they see and will go ahead and cancel.
To me this just isn't one of their better looking SW PFs and it seems to be getting worse.

I thought it was phenominal, aside from the minor nits, when they first unveiled it, but this new cloak just doesn't sit with me well. Had this been the only cloak we'd seen, I'd probably feel better about it, but we've seen another one that suits it better so it's like why why why.
It's definitely a bummer when a proto really looks great but then tweaking occurs and it just isn't the same. I'm hoping that in the end this turns out fantastic because I do really want to like it. Anakin would look so cool next to the PF Vader.
I think what throws it off for me, is the way the picture robe flows, it feels like wind going through it or something, gives a bit more life to the rest of the figure, but this new robe feels more static, like a promo shot, yet the rest of the figure looks alive and involved in action, so the contrast doesn't sit right.
When they went in and futzed with it some the material looked ok. Its not as cool as in the original shots but I don't think its a bad PF. Overall it really is an awesome PF and still a great looking piece. I think if they go in and futz with the hood it will sit fine. I think it would be more than foolish to cancel right now unless you have FP.
Well If anything, I think this switch-a-roo demonstrates that you can take the robe off, I can't imagine they sewed it together on the figure.
Well,I forsee a water treatment for some of you who are going to actaully talk yourself into buying this thing.
As for me I have only one word for you CANCELED

Oh... True, didn't think of it that way.... I'll blame it on staying up too late trying to look at too many paint samples and coordinating them.
And how come people who don't like something are antagonistic to those who do?
