This is just great. This line is an impressive and it keeps getting better. The exclusive is awesome, :chew

My only issue with it is his sash, it seems a bit too light a brown.

However, that's about 5% of the piece and the other 95% is fantastic.

I was just looking at the pictures again, and damm. It looks like Anakin walked right off the set of the movie.

Amazing job on this one Trevor. You are the man!

I hope you find someone who isn't interested Venny, unfortunately Exclusive is 1 per person.

I am going to cry if the exclusive shoots up alot in value in the after market..

....thats gonna depend all on the edition size, even with a kick butt looking peice like this the edition size could kill the after market value. JMO

Seeing the comparison pic the sash does look too light, it looks like it is made out of the same material as the robe. And the hair is too dark. But like Maulfan said, those are just tiny nitpics. Its great to have a release that you really have to grasp at straws to critique. I hope the production piece comes out looking so great!

This won't skyrocket, it would have to be sold-out by now. But I'm sure 2nd chance or a wait list will get you one. None of the SW PF's went up in value and there all just as great as Anakin.

The sculpting on this piece is just amazing. Hayden's likeness is captured perfectly and the pose is very powerful. The exclusive Sith-eyed head is just icing on the cake.

Unfortunately my concern over the fabric has been confirmed. The robe should not have a crinkled texture and the tabards should not be top-stitched, the tabards also look to be too wide as well. What I don't understand is that Sideshow got it right on the 1:6 figure, why the step back on this one, which should technically be more detailed/accurate?

The photos MaulFan posted illustrate the differences very clearly:

Is anyone else bothered by this? I've ordered mine and I want it to be the best it possibly can be and these issues are so minor they can be changed very easily. They've changed things in the past based on fan input (Plo Koon's green lightsaber) so why not try and get this fixed?

I find the only costume issues I have are the color of the sash I mentioned, and I agree, the ribbed Jedi tunic material for his outter robe is not right, but if it lets the robe lay better on the piece, I'll take not being 100% accurrate material for a more impressive overall look. I don't see what the issue is with the tabbards.

I don't see what the issue is with the tabbards.

The screen-used tabards' seams are on the inside (sewn inside out and then pulled right side out to hide the seams) and the tabards on the PF are top-stitched, which means they are sewn on top of the material and detract from the look. They are also a bit too wide, maybe 1/8", which makes Anakin look wide in the waist. It's a common problem with Anakin costumers and one I had myself years ago.

Here are the tabards from the real costume.

I'm not sure I agree with sacrificing one quality for another. Besides, the fabric on the 1:6 Anakin robe lays just fine. In fact, since it's a little stiffer/thicker than the crinkled material it's able to hold position much easier without sagging. So if anyone wanted to put the hood up on this statue or pose the bottom of the robe in a more dramatic fashion the other material would be better suited for that.

more practical & easier to do in 1:1 scale rather than 1:4 scale I'd imagine

This is interesting--comparing the actual costume and the PF version, you can see some differences. However, at the reduced scale, I think that the stitching method they used, as well as the fabric for the robe, will result in a better looking figure at the reduced size we are getting. I can imagine more screen accurate costuming choices resulting in a figure that doesn't look as nice overall. A flat fabric wouldn't drape as nicely in 1:4 scale.

no offence but if we're gonna be that picky we might as well ask for real leather instead of pleather. and so forth.
