I watch the same auction on the Wov vs Dio and I saw that you asked them if they would shipped to canada

yeah and the shipping was like $120+ and to boot the piece ended up higher than i've seen in quite awhile. so needless to say i didn't end up with that one.

BTW i think one of the reasons this one went so high just like the earlier one was because they are willing to ship internationally, while most if not all auctions for the HULK that come up in the states refused to ship overseas. but in doing that they're really limiting themselves to a much smaller customer base.

i was watching and bidding on a wolf vs sabes ex. dio last week from this same seller and it went for over $800 while all the others i've seen sell in the last 3-4 months in the states have been in the $500-$650 range, and most of them wouldn't even ship to canada

I agree with you quad. Most of the big statue sales, like the SS Hulks, are in the US, with US shipping only. This is why I have a Sis down in the US who helps me out in these type of auctions.

If everyone offered internationally shipping, this one would not have sold for $2100, but would have fetched between $1200 and $1500.

Now I only have one SS Green and one SS Hulk. But the gray is #007 and the Green is #0123. AND BOTH have Stan Lee's signature on top of the base AND with pics of him signing my base.

we must have the largest ratio of Hulk PF's per capital in Alberta out of all north america.
i also had four Hulks at one time, except i had 3 gray and 1 green, now i have 2 gray and 1 green but the one gray just went up the road from me so it's still in Alberta

seems a bit overkill and greedy to some i'd think, but i actually have plans for each one and with all this marvel goodness coming out lately i may still need to get another.

I know it may appear greedy to some, but I don't think it is. Especially when you have plans for them. And some hold on to double as a risk in investment.

What I have a problem with is the people who have 8 of their family members buy exclusives of an item for one person. That goes a bit to far.

Interesting you brought up that notion of the number of Albertans that have the hulk ... I would like to extend this a bit further.

I was talking to the owner of the Canadian distributer who has been hired by Sideshow to distribute in Canada. Not only does he have a phenomenal relationship with SS, he sells well for Canada. Example, he just sold 87 SS Iron Man Mark I PF (Exc and Reg combined, I bought the 87th one). That is literally almost 1/10 of the entire production of that one piece. It seems that Canadians are taking a big interest in this.

In fact, my two SS Hulks I sold, the Gray and the Green, both were bought by Shai ... for me this was almost as good as getting a sig from Stan Lee when I sold them to him.

Hi ecekat, pleased to meet you. Thanks for the compliments, and yes, these two pieces are some of my favorites, I intend to keep them. I had a friend of mine in the US that I was able to ship the bases to, and he got them signed, including my SS Spiderm PF Exc, and Silver Surfer, all with pics. The Hulk on the base of the pic though was not mine, just the base.
