Updates;

1) I finally got the speaker mics molded, casting starts this weekend.

2) New silicone helmet mold completed. I can restart the casting process.

3). Water slide decals printed. I’ll be checking to ensure they printed as perfectly as the original prints, no reason why they wouldn't, but I’m always fearful of a mistake.

Orders soon to follow, once I ensure I am happy with the helmet casts for each order.

Can you show a pic of the decals? I'm trying to figure out how much work this will be to get the helmet painted. If most of the work is done with the decals, I might just pull the trigger on a second helmet. I just assumed a fair bit of the black/grey parts I'd have to hand paint in addition to the white overall paint.

Back at it. It’s going to take forever to cast enough speaker mics. Need to create a mold casting 6 sets at a time.

Unfortunately, I have a business trip in D.C. and I’ll be out until Friday. Orders will start shipping that weekend, if all goes well.

Thanks, when I get back I’ll be printing the blue stripe exhaust filters in a more richer blue. I have some extra paper but it’s got to print inkjet...so need to find an ink jet printer.

Updates; I got sick in DC..so I spent a day recovering. I will schedule time to cast new speaker mics tonight or tomorrow and we’ll be back in the swing. Also, I’m still working on improved decals. Sorry, had some issues on the printing...but I figured out how to use an app to adjust color so I don’t have to make two sets.

Also, played around with bad casts and I know for simile I can make helmet variants with thin casts..give me time. We’re almost there.

Thanks guys. Good news, bad news. The bad news is I can’t get my connection to schedule time for the mic tip recasts. I plan to crash the place tonight and hope he’s there and has time. The good news is I bought my own vaccum pot and pump so I can do these myself moving forward with endless number of molds.

Sit tight..we’re almost there. Here’s some more photos of the second attempt...it’s going to work. Just need better casts and more skill detaching and reattaching helmet pieces.
