Picked up my Sideshow/Hot Toys customised Han the other day and chucked him on the shelf to join the ranks. I'm trying to stick with original poses for all my figures, and thought that Han would look best reaching for his blaster, about to draw.

Here's a crap photo (iphone) of my Luke and Han... getting happier but not satisfied with Luke... Also want to see if DIDs German marching boots look a bit better then the Newline ones on Han (just got to get a pair).

Finally got around to doing this as well (the hs from the trooper Han is just too good)-- but how the *(^%(*^%^&% do you get those SSC boots back on the TT feet???



Anyone?... Any tricks I'm missing??

Two ways. Push the pin out holding the toes in and they'll come off. Then the feet'll slide right in. OR, you can go with NewLine or DiD's real leather boots which'll make him really POP!

Boil water,soak boots.
push feet into boots w/o being attached to the legs

Snap legs into foot insode boot.

To fit TT feet into Han's vinyl boots I just got my dremmel out and made the feet smaller.

Shocktrooper_au, I agree, DID's boots are too short and look awful. Newline do German Officer's riding boots; they are taller and slimmer than their enlisted marching boots or DIDs German boots. Check out their site:https://www.newlineminiatures.com/products_ww2axisboots.htm They are listed as out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure they'll get more in the future. There's also the Japanese officer's boots which look to be of a similar cut; they just need painting black.

Also cavalry boots are a more sculpted fit & don't have that big flex happening at the ankle

You really won't be disappointed. EbaY will be your best and cheapest bet.

Bought two pair of long DID boots the other week... much better then the shorter Newline pair I had on Han, which are now on my X-Wing Luke bash/custom.

I switched mine to a narrow TrueType, and got a pair of Newline Tall Officer Boots. Here's the result

I've already cut the socks off, but it still seems like the inseam is too low and I can't get it to fit right. Has anyone else solved that problem??
