Not really my taste either for a SW figure, but they do look like something Al Williamson (famous for drawing Flash Gordon comics) has drawn in his Star Wars comics. The Al Williamson Star Wars comics are great, and those boots certainly have that Flash Gordon type flavor that inspired Star Wars to begin with.

I can appreciate the interpretation and think that one of the fun things about customizing 1/6 figures is making them more like the aspects of SW that we each of us may personally lean into.

Well, I like 'em, and now Han can actually pose well and his feet aren't restricted by the hard Sideshow boots.

I think the boots look terrible , but its your figure and at the end of the
day the only persons satisfaction that matters is yours.

I don't think the boots look bad at all. I like the interpretation. It won't be everybody's taste, but like you, I like to be able to use the articulation.

That inseam issue will be tricky to deal with. You might have to get the trousers re-sewn.

It's definitely your figure and likes vary and if it's to your liking then have at it. To me it just looks like when someone puts on boots that are way too big and they're clunking around in them.

Boots are the wrong style. those are east German military boots ( I own a RL pair) I'm fairly certian Han's boots were English riding boots.

Hey Darren, I'm glad you posted this here as I hadn't seen it yet. Fantastic repaint! This is my favorite repaint of ANH Han I have seen. The detail in the lips is especially well done. Nice work Darren!
