There's been some great repaints of Han, but this one by Darren Carnall is the best I've seen. I had to dig it out again for people who missed it. Really shows the quality of the sculpt.

I no I keep going back to Darren site to look at the photos it the very best I've seen

I had got an extra head about a year back and it's taking me that long to start it first I cut the neck off as I'm going to fit it to soldier story body and just started the re-paint trying to get the eye's right first still not finished them yet but

Looks like a good start Parker! Painting round, symmetrical irises are always a challenge and you got that down pat.

You are a brave man to cut the neck off. I actually did the same thing with Bespin Luke, but I haven't finished it because I need to decide what body to use. I will probably go with the Soldier Story S2, but ideally, Hot Toys will release a leaner version of the Wolverine type body. It is also tricky carving out the inside of the head in a way that will keep the seam between the head and neck as minimal as possible.

I have to agree, that DC repaint is simply jaw-dropping...

However, you fools have unwittingly given me a new excuse to re-post a couple of my favorite shots of my DarkArtist custom painted Han!

This is actually a Hot Toys True Type body with narrow shoulders and sculpted neck that came with the Saizo Kirigakure figure from the Goemon movie. I got it from Toy Anxiety a while back but it pops on ebay every now and then.

Looking good, clparker! But don't forget Harrison Ford's eyes are green, not blue.

Here's my finished Han (well, I know I'll be doing more to it, but for now I'll stop) I fixed the eyes a little bit, futzed with the shirts collar to make it a v neck using the water method and I also died his shirt tan color as it's supposed to be like in the movie:
