The only problem is, there are SO MANY accessories Luke should have that they can't possibly put them all in without charging $80 for the figure or putting out a $30 expansion pack

Yep, that's what I think but accessory pack must come with a Moisture Vaporator and Treadwell!!!

alright, so there is ONE singular knock on the sculpt (guess i don't pay enough attention to that guy....) my bad (eating crow), but one guy is not THEY in totality like you're playing it up

Oh I know it's tame but the fact stands, there are some there that are never pleased. It was shown by quite a few in the Han thread and probably a few will show up tomorrow. I just do not like being called a liar when I have seen it with my eyes. So I will say I am sorry for saying "they" when it is only one now but bet by tomorrow more will join the call. For me though this Luke looks fantastic and I am curious to compare it to the Yavin Luke along with Bespin and Jedi and cannot wait to pose him with Ben.

I've just learned to ignore anything Chavez says. After he pretty much flamed me because my Medi Fett had some issues... I figured it out.

I like the Medicom Figs, but for the price, they could be better. I find I like the SS figures just a touch more. And I'll get horribly flamed for THAT statement as well, because I'm a worthless no nothing newb with less than 500 posts to my name...

No custom, both figures are straight from the factory condition.

You know what's funny about most of the SSC dollies? They don't look 1/2 as good unless you have them in person. Medicom owns armored figures (so far) but humans like Luke (bad) and Jango is good but still stylized (IMO) but SS is where it's at for humans. What's even better, if you think about the big 3 right now HT, SSC, and Medicom...you take SS and Medi and if they had a baby that would be HotToys. Think about it, HT does armor and humans while still retaining the sculpt and paint like SSC but they are high end like Medi and the price range is somewhat in the middle of the other two. Weird. Man it's late.

I like how they look like they belong in the same collection, Medi or otherwise. Custom enough for an improvement but not enough to draw attention from everything else around it.

Hey I'm all for critical opinions as long as they are not just for the sake of being critical. If it's a real problem voice it, just do it in a respectful way and a way that will keep discussion going. But to be down on something just to be down on it, to me, is foolish. SS has a certain price range and if you know that and expect the quality to match the price you'll have a great time. If you expect low prices and Medi quality.. well (and this is not intended toward you) get your head checked. So far though I see no qualms for me with Luke. Just happy to be getting another well done affordable figure.

Sad really, I really dig what most of the artists on these pages post. I was just under the impression the Medi figure was supposed to be shorter. I'll have to go back and compare my two Boba and SS Luke. That could be the dealmaker on a future Jango Fett.

Well, Lukes and Medi's can go ok together because Luke figures are made with SSC's shortest body, but you get into the regular SSC bodies and the difference is quite noticeable.

I know the pain of a boxed collection. Right now my room looks more like a warehouse than a bedroom with all the brown boxes. Open, inspect, maybe take one back to school, but back into the box until I am on my own.
