I am so ENVIOUS of you guys with Luke! I'm still on the waitlist for the exclusive--I got on it in June, when I was first discovering Sideshow toys. I had also waitlisted for the regular, and even got it converted last month, but I cancelled it, still holding out for the exclusive! Is there any hope for me? But I see how backed up they've been with the Obi shipments, and it's only going to get worse through the end of they year, so I figure IF I hear anything, it won't be til after the holidays...

JIm, there are several dealers that have the regular Luke available, I know that you want the exclusive, but they are cheaper than Sideshow's prices.

I'm sure its been done, but here's my bash of ANH Luke and a Marmit Stormtrooper. No neck seal, still sorting that bit out, but aside from that he's done.

All the exterior stuff is Marmit and the body head and rest is Sideshow. I've done some alterations (like the ankles) to improve articulation. I think he came out okay, and makes for a fun looking figure.

I wasn't going to get this Luke but the HS looks better on the stormtrooper than it does on the farmboy outfit.

Did anyone else pick up a loose Trooper belt (Clone Obi-Wan) from Toy Anxiety to place on Luke?

Not sure if it's "exactly" like a Stormtrooper's but it's close enough for me.

When I took the extra Obi Wan and turned the body into a Clone Trooper, I had a standby in case the neck/head was sculpted as one piece. I was planning to utilize the ribbed, soft PVC hosing they use for packing electrical wires into. You can pick it up in anywhere from 1/2" - 1" diameter at pretty much any hardware store and it looked like it'd fit fine:

Sorry for the necropost, but I just got my ANH Luke for my birthday! I found a great deal for him online at Darkshadowcollectibles and directed my wife to the site!

I think he turned out great. I was on the waitlist for an exclusive, but I found the deal and thought I could live without the hat and glasses.

Change the white balance setting on your camera to compensate for the yellow incandescent color.
