Thanks fellas... I bought the extra Luke body and head months ago with the intention of making this, but never got around to it. Sadly Darthrazz who needed the armor got me thinking I needed to finish, sorry I wasn't able to hook you up.

And I think the sculpt with its stern expression works well for the Stormtrooper armor.

No worries galactiboy! I'm glad to see how great that turned out! Now I have to finish my Stormie Han solo. I have some ideas/materials for the neck seal and real leather holster. I'll PM you if it works, if I have some material left over, it's yours! If you ever decide to sell this badboy, I have first dibs!:lol

You got it...

I did fold over some electrical tape and it looked passable, although with how the head sits in the armor I'm not sure how necessary it is. Now a leather holster would be a very nice addition and I figure for displaying I'll use one of the Sideshow blasters as they look 10x better than what came with the Marmit.

NICE!

When I did Marmit customs, I used a thick black fabric elastic sewn together into an "O" and put that around the neck. Thought it looked good.

Here's some pics, so you can see what I've done for the my black fabric elastic neck seals.

Please IGNORE my MORT Han Stormtrooper above, who is desperately waiting for a replacement SS Han head/body. I just shot that pic to show his neck seal with Marmit Stormtrooper armor.

Just cut a section of the black fabric elastic, sew it, invert it, slip it on the neck (making sure your sew seam is in the back), attach the head to the body.

I'm going to make a Han and Luke Stormtrooper if I can ever find an SS Luke head/body!:monkey2

Thanks guys! He looks a lot nicer standing on my shelf than I can capture with a photo for some reason. I may have to gear him up and snap a few shots before I send him off to Matt.

great bash GB.......i was gonna do that as well with one of my marmit sandies but decided not to. im sure ssc will put out a version.

& coco.......that paint job looks awesome. i can never get my pics to show what i want them to either.

I'm sure its been done, but here's my bash of ANH Luke and a Marmit Stormtrooper. No neck seal, still sorting that bit out, but aside from that he's done.

All the exterior stuff is Marmit and the body head and rest is Sideshow. I've done some alterations (like the ankles) to improve articulation. I think he came out okay, and makes for a fun looking figure.

Looks Great! Do you think Sideshow would ever make these officially?

i would just about bet the farm on that !! :lol

Yeah, I think its a good possibility. Although hopefully they will either create new sculpts or mod the hair a bit. At the very least they'll need to create a HT style head for them.

But since I already had the parts it was an easy one to put together.
