I don't know if you have a Medi Vader Mike but they did a great job. My favorite part of that figure is the material of both the suit and the cape.

The removable helmet thing is something I can live without myself. I'll never display Vader without his noggin cap so if SS skipped the interior head sculpt to save on the price tag that'd be fine by me.

There are 4 versions of Vader they could do.

ANH, no removable helmet.
ESB, removable dome.
RotJ, removable dome/mask.
RotS, same as RotJ.

I don't see them just making one.

Definitely but definately agree

That would be sweet. Along with his robotic arm and legs. Detachable of coarse. ;) Though that could be one expensive pack.

Would it still come with a stand? Because there's pretty much no chance of him being able to stand up...

Still a good idea though...I'd buy it...

I want a ROTS Vader most, but I see them doing ANH first...it's their first try at Vader, plus it would go with all the other ANH figs that are being released...

I actually like chavez' idea of a two pack ROTS Vader with crippled Deep Fried Anakin.

I remember Hasbro putting out an "Ultimate Villain" set of Anakin with the Darth Vader costume, and the "deep fried" Anakin all in one big package. I had wanted it, but this was before I starting collecting Sideshow, and Hot Toys figures. Yeah, the head sculpt was not that great, but it was a good concept. I agree that it would be great if Sideshow did an Episode III Darth Vader like that! I'd buy it for sure! :D

A wise choice, if you can manage the cash, the 70 Rewards Points for Luke will help your cause down the road. I'm trying to save up a lot to either get something free or be able to get something pricey in a much more affordable range. I'm a little over $100 worth right now.

That's what I'm trying to do is save it so I can get 2-3 1:6th free or even something like Vader depending on the price. In about a week I'll have $150 worth of RP waiting plus more converting all the time.

Now, the item just has to go up when I'm home so I can order it. :lol

I worked on the hi-res image, it's really amazing how much this IS ANH Luke.

Damn! That's what was throwing this whole thing off for me – the eyes! I should have learned from the mess that was ANH Han awhile back. It's amazing how much some poor lighting and bad paint aps can screw up a dead-on sculpt.

MaulFan, you just made this figure worthwhile for me. I am definitely keeping my order now. I hereby admit to being very wrong about this sculpt. :monkey4

Glad I could help Crasis. The protos always are paited well, BUT sometimes they just look like well painted humans and not the actors. This happened with Bespin Luke, but fortunately the production piece, which is what really counts, did look like Hammil's eyes.

Well I'm glad you're here to tell us these things. Chewie take the professor and plug him into the hyperdrive!

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Was about to say the same thing.

Its like great! You're not collecting 1:6th anymore and you're telling us you passed on this too. WOW! I'm shocked. :rotfl

I should have enough reward points for Vader when he comes out.

Wasn't it decided that Rewards Points are better spent on lower-priced items?? Using $120 of Rewards Points on Vader, means that you'll lose out on 120 Points. Or you could use $120 Points on two Dead figures, and get double the figure-y goodness and lose out on 120 points.

Wow! Do you have an alert that goes off when someone post something like that? Cause you always seem to be the first to chime in with your worthless post!

For those that get those lines sure, but some of us only really get Star Wars and so we have been hoarding all our points for Vader when he shows up.
