For those that get those lines sure, but some of us only really get Star Wars and so we have been hoarding all our points for Vader when he shows up.

See that's why its tough for me as I collect LOTR, SW, and The Dead. I wouldn't mind getting Vader for free that's for sure but I've also thought about getting say GTG for free too. Then again I might use it to get a couple of Clones, Stormies, etc.

I just don't know!!!

Well I get LOTR, SW, now Shaun and Pirates.. but Shaun will be limited me thinks, Pirates we can't use points (I don't think) and well really.. it's more fun to say I got my Vader for free.

Right which is what I'm thinking. Actually if Vader doesnt come out till SDCC I might not be able to use points as I'll be at the show. I don't care be it full price or free he's mine.

I tell ya one thing if an armored character isn't announced at SDCC i'll probably stay away from this section. There is sure to be unending whining about how Sideshow sucks and they promised to debut at SDCC, and what not

Our predictions are fine and all, but when it comes down to it Sideshow will release/debut them when they are ready. And so far we really don't know when that will be.

I wouldn't say that. Hints have been that 2008 is the year of armor, and big announcements are made at SDCC since ToyFair will be online this year.

These 2 images are awesome.

The hairs right with that 70's ruffle, closed month, great boots, nice big karate top and poncho, another great belt and as always great accessories.

Another home run for SSC me thinks, the tops going to be covering the hip joints so this guy will be easy to pose with the buck.

Very nice looking figure, overall, but that is still not Hamill, not by a long mile. Jedi Luke is still way, way closer.

If you still don't think that looks like Hamill then I dunno what to tell you. I think this is the best ANH era sculpt ever, beating even the PF. Trev did a great job on this and would say this is totally on PAR with the Jedi Luke sculpt.

Hamil's aged fairly well, from the look of it, if that's a recent photo. With longer hair (ie. in the style of the PT), maybe a beard, he'd still cut a fair figure as an older Luke, a wise Jedi Master, if Lucas ever decides to Make VII, VIII, IX.....

With the tweaked eyes, that sculpt looks fantastic! Might change my mind on this one.

I really think its a great sculpt... paint is good, but doesn't really highlight it as well as it could. Also the lighting on these is always a bit off.

All I know is that this figure is leaps and bounds above Hasbro even in their best efforts (100th figure, VOTC Luke) so I am really happy to get it. The fact that there are no rubber leggings/boots but cloth and the belt is so nicely detailed and the sculpt is really good makes it all the better.
