i had a phone call today to verify the address for my hellboy since it was over $100 she said .shipped out today. i was too scared to make sure it was the hot toys version. afraid i would jinx it. lol guess ill find out.

Assuming they don't cancel it for some reason, you should be fine. There's no other figure it could be. I was more worried about the Predator, but that worked out.

mine wasn't double boxed. Crappy card board box that looks like already used to ship something, then P1 box with clear plastic sleeve inside that box, as in the collector's box was not inside a anything other that the box it shipped it. Very little packing material too. I'm surprised it look at good as it did, but it only shipped from Vegas I think.

Isn't putting the product's box into a second shipping box what we refer to as "double boxed?" Maybe it's just single boxed. In any case, I was trying to distinguish it from the person who said that their product was just wrapped in brown paper and sent as-is.

No, some places actually put 2 shipping boxes around the manufacturer's box. I think Sideshow even did it once, with Leia or Illum Padme, though I've never found it necessary with stuff from them.

That seems a little excessive. In any case, what Hastings was doing seems to be what everybody else is doing so that issue with them sending something just wrapped in paper was a fluke, I think.

No, definitely not. My definition is:

The collector's box that contains product doesn't count as a box. This should be put in a tightly fitting box, then that inside a shipping box.

Sorry, I'm a little bit like the anal retentive chef.

Got my Vader and Old Ben today. They were boxed separately with bubble wrap inside large boxes. Luckily both figure boxes were in excellent condition with perfect merchandise inside. Good thing they were shipped separately because you know how these two quarrel when left alone. ;)

So glad I got in on this sale. Felt good to finally "pull the trigger" on these classic Star Wars figures.

Damn. Beginning to worry since I still haven't received mine when it looks like everyone else has. They should give us tracking info. like the rest of the civilized world for piece of mind.

boxes? don't you guy open em. Unless the product inside is damaged I can care less what the box looks like.

Well, it helps to feel safer going in a box if the outside looks like everything in is in nice shape, if the outside looks like a train wreck, who's going to want to go in.

I prefer my boxes clean and undamaged. What can I say?

well, businesses prefer customers to pay full price. You get what you pay for. I'll take 30% off with box damage over 100% price with nice boxes any day.
