I would too, but that's not exactly what we're talking about here. There's no reason to assume that the products coming from hastings would be in terrible condition (although a little shelf wear is likely). For the most part, the boxes I got were in fine shape.

Shelfwear is almost innevitable, a lot of these things probably came from a store shelf, not even a warehouse. Every joe on the planet's pawed it and probably looked at it, especially Hot Toys stuff, and the average storegoer isn't going to care about box condition either for themself or for the guy who will eventually buy it.

I don't expect the boxes to look like total crap and if they were utterly destroyed then theres a reason to complain. But personally, I don't expect perfection from a company that I consider a bigbox retailer where the figures have been actually wasting away on store shelves with grubby kids and greasy fingured fat ***** manhandling them. Seems like a lot of posters here are in a panic about whether their package is pristine or not. Its 30% off guys.

My Vader came in the plastic bag but not the original mailer, loose in a cardboard box with some paper on either side. Not that secure but for the price I wasn't too pissed. Funny how little information they sent though...no tracking info, and then the packing slip in the box was nondescript...not even gohastings written anywhere except on the address label.

Just got my Hellboy. :D

Well packed, too.

Big box, had a bunch of packing foam. Figure package was wrapped in brown paper.

Still waiting on my Vader. I ordered on September 4, and got a shipping confirmation on September 6. It is now Sep 15, and still no Vader???

I'm in the same boat. I also ordered on the 4th and got the shipping notice on the 6th. Still nothing. If my Leia is not waiting when I get home, I'll give Hastings a call.

I prefer my boxes clean and undamaged. What can I say?

Going off of what I knew Mesa's was getting at and the perfectly laid innuendo the next few comments are quite obscene.

Well, it helps to feel safer going in a box if the outside looks like everything in is in nice shape, if the outside looks like a train wreck, who's going to want to go in.

well, businesses prefer customers to pay full price. You get what you pay for. I'll take 30% off with box damage over 100% price with nice boxes any day.

I got my CC statement today and found that they charged me twice. So I called them up and got that cleared up. I took the opportunity to ask if I should be worried that I haven't gotten my order, but they said that it could be 3-10 biz days!

Well everything from the order I placed on the last day of the sale shipped. ANH Obi Wan, Stormtrooper and HT Hellboy are coming.

I really thought that Hellboy order would be cancelled but it actually shipped. Hopefully I don't get a Mezco Hellboy 2 figure or something.

I went back on the last day and found a few items back in stock, so I took a chance. Now I am just waiting. order is confirmed, but no tracking is nerve wracking.

Vader arrived today. Crappy packing job by Hastings, but he arrived in good shape from what I can tell. Haven't taken him out of the SS box yet. :vader

Got mine today. Packaging was exceptional in my case, though the seal on Iron Man's box was actually broken, and the top was opened haphazardly (ripping the box a bit), but the figure looked like it was never actually taken out. The figure itself is a bit underwhelming compared to what I was expecting, frankly, but GoHastings eventually got their job done.

Big thanks again to zeiss for giving me the chance to obtain a figure I doubt I would have ever bought otherwise.
