This may be a dumb question (so forgive me if it is), but did you put in batteries? They're not included for the P1....

That is the second time someone has asked that, I thought people would give me more credit that than. And yes, they are included with the figure and yes they were put in the way the instructions show.

Yeah, they are included with the P1. They're just hard to find. To be honest, though, the light-up effect isn't that fantastic.

I can understand that, but I'm hoping that they will actually be more careful than other places due to what happened. You can always use a temporary credit card number if it bothers you.
They had a credit card breach a few months ago. I don't really think there's anything to worry about at this point, but a lot of people got pissed at them about it.

How long did it take for folks to get a cancellation notice after they ordered? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on an order, but keep waiting for that "we're sorry" email.

I got a lot of my stuff today, including Iron Man Mark 3, Original Predator, Sideshow Toht, and a Rebel Fleet Trooper. It was all in pretty good shape, although the iron man box did have a small rip in it. My only real complaint is that it all came by priority mail (and all in separate boxes), and I paid for expedited shipping. I'm not sure how taking 10 days to arrive qualifies as being expedited (which was supposed to be second day air). I might contact them about it.
Anyway, Iron Man is a pretty nice figure, especially for this price. His chest/eye lights were very dim out of the box, so I took out the batteries and reinserted them and now they're very bright. Not sure what the issue was, but I had to do the same thing with one of my Alien figures.

out of curiousity, why would you pay for expedited shipping for a lot of items that for the most part have been out for months?

I think some people did the faster shipping thinking it would better their chances of the order going through because faster shipping ones might get processed first to get them out the door, but to me it just means when it leaves the door it'll go quicker, but still processed the same.

Yes, I paid for it because I was afraid that the sale was possibly a mistake or that the items I wanted might sell out very quickly, and in many cases going with expedited shipping in these cases gives you a better chance of getting what you ordered. (And who knows, maybe that's why I got my stuff while other people had theirs canceled.) It was only a small amount above normal shipping in my case, so it's not a huge deal, but I think I'll ask about it.

Even Priority shouldn't take a week, most of the time I ship that it's like 3-4 days at the most.

Here's my Sideshow haul from Hastings.com (and Jun Planning Oogie Boogie from a fellow Freak). I'm still waiting to see whether I'll be geting the HT Hellboy or not.
The stuff from Hastings arrived in five separate boxes (well, four boxes and a padded envelope); the postal carrier had delivered them in such a fashion I couldn't open my security door. Luckily I caught her before she left so she could move them enough for my door to open.
This is the first time I've ever been barricaded into my home with toys.
