Snake Plissken's well-known but not to the extent of The Crow. This isn't based on character merits either, look at what karamazov80 said a few pages back, Brandon Lee's performance hit at just the right time in history and, as a result, been cemented in pop culture. Snake has a spot as well, but without the advantage of timing (and I hate to say it, but also the mystery surrounding the lead actor's death).
Bottom line: if HT finally made this figure after years of fans pleading, I have no doubt the same will happen for Snake. But getting into a ____measuring contest over popularity? Really? Just because it's not what you hoped for given a teaser that clearly shows black hair and white make-up, you're going to argue that no one cares about the character? There are at least three wish list threads on here spanning several years, each with dozens of posts.
