They legit look like they should be priced at $125-$150 max. $255 + tax + shipping for these is insane.

I'm also hearing on Facebook that a lot of people's figures not being able to hold the lightsabers well since the hands grips are really loose. :ohbfrank: People having to use blue tac on these figures..

Mine just arrived. Upon first inspection both wrist loser than i like and so is Anakins ankles…Kenobi’s ankles are fine. Paint apps work for me. Upon first impressions, I am sold on the line.

McHaley up there making these guys look nice!

I wonder if different stands might help? I hate those Sideshow bases, so absolutely plain and lackluster.
I think these stands would be fine if you had the upcoming releases all in museum-like poses and lined up. But yep…diorama bases would have been really nice. Especially considering the price point.

If the grip were tighter, it would be almost impossible to get those sabers into the tiny hands. It works better for the 2 handed grip, but yes…it’s hard to keep the saber steady in just the one hand.

Thanks for the review @Jedha Patrol! I don’t think the Anakin looks bad but there’s no way I’m paying full price for him or Obi-Wan.

If the figures happen to get a discount at some point in the future which tends to happen with a lot of Sideshow figures maybe I’ll consider getting them, but as of right now I can wait.

Cad Bane is tempting though as I prefer his animated look over the live action look.

My Anakin waist joint also just popped. The socket that’s located at the bottom of the waist (that plugs into the groin) crumbled. This is the plastic piece(s) that we’re seeing fall out of the figure. The floppy leg (Anakin’s left), which is the same as in Jehda’s review, cannot be tightened. The screw well is stripped. So much so that you can’t even unscrew it ( much less tighten it). I’ll post pictures when I have the time and I’ll be writing to Sideshow. This is more than just a floppy body. It’s defective and I suspect it’s in all the figures. They need to know.
I’ve attempted to piece the joint back together, but I know it probably won’t hold. I’d have to use some way stronger.

Edit: I’ve contacted Sideshow. We’ll see what they say. I know I can’t be the only one with this same issue.

Mine will not move from the positions they are in..unacceptable and i love the line
In my email to SSC I stated as much. I love the line and want to support it. But their manufacturing is faulty. You can’t have that kind of joint in a (very) thin walled socket. If they are also using a cheaper plastic, it’s a recipe for disaster. The crumbling plastic reminding me of old Medicom joints or the early DCC Batman Animated line.
