Hey guys. I know it's been a while since I've posted in here but I haven't been able to collect anything due to financial reasons. I'm happy to report though that I just got in a new Shunya Yamashi.ta figure earlier today, so I figured it was time to come out of hiding. I should have at least commented on your guys pick-ups, so I apologize for that. I was just a bit bummed that I couldn't get anything.

So before I post pics of my new arrival and I took quite a few Let me say congrats to everyone who got new figures in the last couple months. I especially like your recent pick-up tyler, really nice figure man.

Now with that said, I present to you my new addition to my collection. I got a new camera a little while back, well really my brother did, so I think my pics are a little better now. Enjoy guys and I'll be dropping in more often, even if I don't have any figures coming in.

Emaretta looks great Havok, I've seen that one a few times on ebay but never followed it up. Damn, might have too now, looks sooo good! I like the way she looks with the cape - epic.

Nice pics Nataliya, those Rei & Asuka figures rock! I've never seen that second fig you posted, I like it. Keep an eye on GoodSmile Company guys, they make some nice stuff in 1/7.(love my Nida fig)

ah, our esteemed member havok is back! no need to apologize, man. i totally understand how frustrating it can be when finances are a little tight. heaven knows it sure is the case for me right now, after my recent spending spree. i've gone cold turkey now, and reduced to just chatting on this board... btw, thanks for the kind words.

emaretta-chan looks great! i was toying with the idea of picking her up some time back, and now i regret not doing so. well, there's always evilbay i suppose. no... must... resist....

Thanks guys! Yeah Emaretta-chan is awesome, probably the most dynamic Yamashi.ta piece I've seen. I definitely recommend her if you can pick her up. A really good place to order from is Animecornerstore.com, that's where I got mine. And in case you guys are wondering, she does have a removable top in addition to her cape. I took pics of that but of course I can't post them.

Yeah I'll be trying to get on here more often if only just to chat. I probably won't be able to get another figure until sometime in March when Kiriko Abe launches, hopefully if she isn't delayed. Unless I get some extra money before that, then I'll get my hands on Roxanne. Those are the two Yamashi.ta pieces I'm after now.

By the way I'm selling a few of my other Anime Figures in case any of you guys are interested. I want to try to keep it in the U.S. for now but if nothing sells I might be willing to ship Internationally. I've just never done it before and I'm not very comfortable with the idea but I don't know if there's gonna be alot of interest on here. Here's the link to my thread.......

I'm looking for the leaning Kasumi figure and do not want a bootleg.
I just did a little research and have learned that the main giveaway to the figure being fake is the hair not being split.

Left is authentic, Right is fake

Does anyone know if I can trust unitoyzone_com on Ebay? It obviously wouldn't do any good to ask them if they sell bootlegs.

I actually have one last flex payment to Sideshow Collectibles for the Medicom 40 inch tall Evangelion Unit 01 statue. I preordered back in late July when Sideshow unveiled it at Comic Con and hopefully I'll have it in my collection at the end of this week or at the latest early next week. It's funny. As much anime as I own, and have watched over the last 20 years, I just don't own many anime collectibles outside a few built up Gundam models and toys, Bandai's 1/350 Space Battleship Yamato (which I still need to complete) and a few assorted small figures of Vash the Stampede, a Kerberos Protect Gear, and Kaneda and his bike. With purchasing all three new Medicom Evangelion 12" figures of Shinji, Rei, and Asuka, and with their big brother Eva Unit 01 on its way, my collection has gotten definitely bigger. Cannot wait for Sideshow to get Medicom/Bandai's Kaneda and bike in later this year.
