I finally got my Nasca figure in the mail today - very nice.

Only thing is she looks lonely hanging there all by herself, I'll have to pick up a few more Yamashi.ta pieces in the near future.

Congrats on Nasca DeadLeaves! You definitely won't regret getting more Yamashi.ta pieces. I can recommend some good ones based off what I have.

Yeah Mirei-san was the last one for a little while unfortunately but she was sure a good one to go out on. Don't worry, I"m already getting figures lined up that I want to pick up once I'm able to.

I've tried to be tasteful, but the last one is the essence of the pose ( and her best angle).

nice pics deadleaves. don't worry about whether or not the shots are in "good taste". this figure is one of the tamer ones compared to others that have cast-off clothes. nasca has always been an early favourite of mine in terms of shunya's work. great sculpt detail and paint apps, plus her face is so cute. i am planning to get her somewhere down the line.... once my poor wallet recovers from the recent spending spree.

Well as for the ones I plan on getting, they all fall in the Yamashi.ta category. The Tsukasa Bullet range is nice too but Yamashi.ta is gonna be my main focus. The next one I want to try to get is the Sera-Chan figure. After that the ones I want to get are the Emaretta-chan figure, Roxanne figure and the Kiriko Abe figure. After those it's a little up in the air right now but they're the main ones I want to try to get.

On a side note, I got a better camera so I might be reposting pics of a few of my Yamashi.ta pieces. I won't be flooding the thread with pics of all of them but I hope you guys don't mind me posting more pics of a few.

Nope I don't have Roxanne yet. As far as I know, she hasn't been released yet or at least not at the retailers I order from. I have the Rosanna figure though, that might be the one you got mixed up with Roxanne.

roxanne, rosanna, i have a hard time remembering all these women's names that sound the same. ok, true story: i once called a gal i was dating by a slightly different name. luckily it was a crowded, noisy restaurant so she gave me the benefit of the doubt. but not before giving me a suspicious stare. nearly lost my life there...

this thread's gone a little quiet lately. so thought i'd give it a bump with some pics.

this is the latest figure from shunya yamashi-ta: she's called ryomou shimei. approx 1/6 scale. only the skirt is a cast-off (and possibly the frilly shoulder straps too), so nothing too revealing here...

quite a nice piece. the handcuffs are a kinky touch.

but i don't think i'll be getting this one.

I kinda gave up on the thread when I couldn't post pics of any of my stuff besides the Yamato animal girls. I still look for new pics from you guys though.

I wish they would make more resin or polystone statues. I mean if your going to charge me $75 for vinyl, then you might as well charge me $100+ for one made of resin. Thats why I collect the older anime statues.

Plus the newer statues are just about panties and nudity instead of having a well sculpted piece.

yeah she's by ikki tousen. but the site i got the pics from also stated she's by yamashi-ta. i checked the artwork and it looked kinda like shunya's style, so i assumed it was his. could be wrong tho...

and u CAN post pics with cast-off/naughty parts. just do what most of us do and censor the "offending" parts. put a coloured circle over those parts or somethin...

it get kinda old when EVERY figure is a cast off clothes type.

the shunya's are good figures and busts.

my issue with vinyl and pvc is that it sometimes doesnt cast well (lost of detail) but they are getting better i suppose. its just $200 for a pvc figure is outrageous.

Nothing cast-off. Actually, the ones like that are still posted here. The ones that were removed just had too much showing, and I'd never defile them with censor bars.

Alex, how are you going to cure that torso? Or is it already cured? I did the same to a 10 inch body to try to recreate Virgil, and let's just say that it was a horrible experiment in the oven.
