I'm just waiting on 3 more pieces that will be arriving Tuesday and Wednesday. Once they arrive and I get them organized the way I want on my shelves, I'll take a shot of them all for sure. If I can get them all in one picture anyway. Might have to be a few pics.

I got surprised with my next ShunYama figure earlier today, that I wasn't expecting until next week. This one is Arisa and it's an alternate color version. The original had purple hair, a black skirt and white stockings among a few other things. I prefer the color scheme on this one personally. I really love this figure. Here's some pics.......

aaah, u finally scored arisa. she's easily one of my favourites. the detail on the guitar is just amazing, isn't it?

personally i prefer displaying her without her skirt and top... i know, i know. i sound like a total perv. but i don't quite like the way the skirt is sculpted.

also, i noticed something from your pics: the base on yours is not a mirror finish. mine is, cos i think the original version was like that. or is it the angle/lighting of your pics that's causing the base to look less reflective?

Yep, she's up there as one of my favorites now too. The guitar really is detailed, it looks awesome.

Yeah I don't particularly like how you can see the seams on the top and skirt where they connect. It's not really noticeable when on display though and I don't need my Yamashi.ta pieces to be naked in order to enjoy them. Of course it doesn't hurt and if that's the way you like to display them, then more power to you. Near naked does just fine for me though.

I have the Karin bust as well as Shion. Both are gorgeous, but Shion is my favorite of the two. Silver hair, and the way they painted her skin is amazing.

Arisa is pretty awesome too. I have the original release and the skirt is not as flattering as it should be, but if you give it a good pinch, you can get that seam closed.

oh, ok. i think the mirror finish was to provide an upskirt look at arisa. ahem. can't think of any other reason they'd make it like that.

I got in my next ShunYama piece today. This is another Fine Art Bust from Kotobukiya and her name is Niniane. This was the first bust that really caught my eye and that I really wanted to get and I think she's gorgeous. Here's a few pics for you all to look at.

I'll try to get pics up some time. I have a couple Ikki Tousen girls from Yamato and two of the animal girls (Topaz & Annerose).

Does anyone know if there's a Shunya figure with a base shaped the same as Arisa's? I want one to put opposite of her, but the base is so prominent, it really stands out if they're not similar.

I have my last 2 pieces coming in tomorrow, then I'm probably gonna have to take a break from getting new ones for a little while. I amassed a nice little ShunYama collection though I think, so I'm pretty happy. As much as I want to, I just can't get them all but I can sure try to get whatever ones I can. I do like some more than others though, so those take top priority.

hey guys, this is a new one based on shunya's girls. this one is called shogun hattor.

been thinking of preordering her, but my budget is pretty tight as i've recently gone a little overboard with marvel comiquettes and ht stuff.

i think the headsculpt is so far one of the best translations of shunya's art. whaddya think?

not that i know of. but maybe u can customize your own base. the standard hot toys base is similar in shape (an oval) but is a little smaller. u could overlay a mirror/reflective sticker on top of it and it should look fairly consistent with the arisa base...

That new one based off ShunYama's work is beautiful. I plan on picking it up when it comes out but I've been going kinda crazy lately with my purchases so I might have to wait a little longer after it releases. The face does look gorgeous but I want to see it finished with the purple paint job on her outfit.
