They’re Funny book movies. I go for all the colorful explosions and witty banter.
Fair enough but honestly I went with expectations at rock bottom so I was definitely very pleasantly surprised where as I went into BP expecting it to be better than simultaneous *** with two 19 year old Japanese girls and boy was it NOT that lol
Did I describe the media hype push for BP grand enough or should I add a 19 year old American cheerleader to the mix lol
LOL those are very specific expectations!
I on the other hand had fairly low expectations coming into both films. Neither of the films' trailers got me hyped much.
I would say that BP felt longer to me (I actually checked my watch a few times to see how long the film had left). Ant Man and the Wasp however just flew by. I think the latter was simply a more fun ride than BP was.
The MCU has also been pushing some good female characters. Shuri was the standout for me in BP and Wasp was for Ant Man and the Wasp. I'd even say Valkyrie was also the highlight of Ragnarok for me.

Tell WB that
Don’t get me started with them!
I think Aquaman will earn more than IW and be the movie to kickstart the era of the DCEU beating Marvel/Disney into submission!
Wait...
Wait for it...
Almost there...
Almoooost there.....

What I was very disappointed in was the Janet rescue. I expected more time in the Quantum Realm and honestly, more of an understanding of it. I wanted the rescue to be on it's own to show it's importance, not told alongside the fight with Ghost and Sonny.
How can there be understanding of it when there’s only been one person with any extended time in it?
