Anyone else actually prefer the 1:1 combat endoskull over the clean?

Hey, that's MY story !! :lol Ever since Season 2 of the SC Chronicles started, I've been infected with the Cyberdyne virus! :banghead I got the PF EX. on order and now I'm going to need an Endoskull to keep it company. :D

LOL..that's a trip. Watching that is what gave me the itch too.

I'm considering getting the combat endo. It'll be the most expensive thing I've ever bought in my life, so I really need to think about it!

Expensive yes but WELL worth it and it's only to go UP in value. Win-win

Compared to the high price for the clean version nowadays, Sideshow's price is mere pennies. :rotfl
And I'm not worried about the value in the future. If I get one, the endo will stay with me until I die, or until it targets me for termination when Judgement Day comes.

Yeah Im the same way, I buy to keep but it's nice to know when you fork over $500 its not going to drop to $250 a week later like some other collectibles ::cough:: Star wars

get the bust..wait til you see the eyes...Im not gonna ruin it but the eyes are awesome!!!

Man , when I started collecting 1/6 figures about 7 months ago:horror I quickly realized just how expensive this hobby was going to be. :lol It led to PF's and higher end bust pretty quickly. It's like no other hobby I have ever been into and I am so hooked:lol If you haven't noticed it's all about TERMINATOR for me. Yes , I have other stuff like all the Hot Toys RAMBOS and two HT Robocops and other 1/6 figs (you can see most of what I have in my profile album) which I really like but the Higher end stuff is really calling to me :horror For me BIGGER IS BETTER and these 1:1 scale endo busts are freaking amazing. Like I said earlier I have the combat endo skull and have 2 more 1:1 scale bust on the way:horror stay tuned for pics. Mike:banana

lol same here man. Started with 3 3/4", went to 6". Got bored, went to 1/6, now I'm 1/4 and 1:1!! Each time, I sell off the old stuff to afford the new stuff. When will the madness end!!!

I just drank the coolaid and bought the 1:1 Combat Endo Bust on ebay. Got 25% off with the live.com discount.:chew

Congratulations, you wont regret it, the only thing I regret that mine's currently boxed in storage as I have no room to display it atm :(

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to getting it, although I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse. This is my first really big piece (price-wise). I'm mostly a 1:6 collector. But, this thing was just calling to me.

Then you and I have alot in common, I too am a 1:6 collector but gave into this and only this piece. Terminator 1&2 just mean too much to me to not have this in my collection.

Post pics when it arrives of course!

I will post pics eventually. I am in the middle of moving into a house right now, so it won't get on display until I get my "toy room" done. Hopefully that won't be too long though.

Ahhhhh the "Toy Room" yes, thats what its all about my friend! I've become a hermit because of it :D

My Combat Veteran Skull came today. :banana:banana:banana

Sadly, I only had it out of the box for about 15 minutes to check it out, then back it went. :monkey2 It's headed over to my new house tomorrow, but will remain in the box for an indeterminate period while I work on the house. Maybe I'll pull it out for some pictures though. This thing is definitely going to be the coolest piece in my collection.

eta: One thing that I found disappointing, though was how the chip goes into the head. I would have expected somthing more like a slot for the chip to fit in on the plug instead of just a magnet arrangement. I kind of find it a bit cheesey. Ah well, it will stay in the head most of the time anyway.

I have a few questions if you don't mind:

What do you think about the paintjob on it?

When did you make your order?

Not too sure what you mean here. Were you expecting a slot like on a mother board for the chip to plug into ?
