Anyone else get H1N1 flu virus?

Well i got a shot cause i work with kids.i'm never sick anyway.

My wife got the shot because she is pregnant. The doctor on the other hand told me I wasn't high risk enough. Even though I'm a teacher and have a pregnant wife. They said if my son was born already they'd stick me but since he wasn't I wasn't going to get it. Doesn't matter anyway because I rarely get sick.

Personally, I don't think anyone should turn down a free vaccine, unless you have some kind of egg allergy. It may not save your life, but it could save the life of someone else down the line.

As for myself, I don't get flu shots. I'd rather my immune system stay strong by fighting off germs itself. I'm 41 now and have never had the flu. Sure I get the sniffles sometimes and maybe a stomach bug here or there but for the most part I don't get sick.

All you people who think they have to sterilize everything you touch and clean their hands once an hour with an anti-bacterial soap are doing yourselves more harm then good. Drug resistant bacteria are at a scary level now because of anti-biotic abuse and germaphobia.

The Government portrayed this swine flu as some tragedy that was going to happen unless you were immunized and look what happened. It has been less severe than the regular flu. Hell they even want you get immunized against Chicken Pox now. When my kids were young and the first one got Chicken Pox we made sure the second one got it to.

Some of you throw around terms like "afraid" or "misinformed". How about "distrust". My reasonings for a lot of how opinionated I am and why I won't run out and get this vaccine is because I don't trust my governemnt. You want to that's fine but don't label me "fail" because I don't choose to. There's a song by Montgomery Gentry some of you ought to listen to. It's called You Do Your Thing I'll Do Mine. Oh yea, here.

Well gee, maybe that's why we have a 12 Trillion dollar deficit because of how many people think the exact same way you do. Good thing you like paying taxes because we're going to be paying more soon enough.

I may not be as big as a conspiracy theorist as he is but I would rather be somewhat like him then have my head buried in the sand like you and some others.
