I just read the synopsis of Avatar on Wikipedia and I don't get the excitement.

To be fair, you don't really get an idea of how visually impressive it is by reading a synopsis. To me, that is the main draw.

The sad thing it isnt just that one guy. That was one example I picked out. Its the whole forum.
