Seriously, that movie was mediocre at best in my book. Nothing extraordinary about it really, in terms of the storyline. If that movie touched you and brought a change upon your whole being, then your a freakin' idiot to the max! The movie was pretty, yes.....But I still want my 15 bucks back!

I liked the Avatar plot better the first 30 times I saw the movie, like when they called it Blade Runner, or District 9.

Also can't we just put all the Avatar people on a boat and send them to a Rain Forrest somewhere. Give them a box of blue paint in 30-40 years they can have their own Na'vi society for us to come and rape and pillage.

If you look back at the Avatar thread here, there were zealots for this film way before it was even released.

Nothing like D9? An outsider sent with the intention of doing harm to an alien community by taking their land becomes one of them and fights for them instead. Sounds familiar to me.

I liked D9 and clearly I like Blade Runner, I have it in my sig etc, but I wouldn't have a mental breakdown about being in that world.

However, someone who, like the guy this thread is about, has a collapse of this nature or is still crying several days after a film is clearly mentally unstable.

Guys like that are the same deranged people who murder their family in their sleep under the impression they'll all end up in a magical paradise.

A paradise I may add, that alot of people would say this man already has, a home, a successful wife, a child, a family, thats what its all really about, loved ones that are there for you, you don't have to go far to find people who'd trade places with him in a heartbeat.

Wow ok first of all it wasnt the prawns land at all, i dont remember them having a lush planet and riding on dragons and whatnot,also they wernt blue important fact thier.

And i agree people need to enjoy what they have when i was young i wish i could be spiderman but that could never happen, people need to learn whats reality and whats not.
