Because I’m an *****. Lol

At first I figured at ten or twenty a year and 200 a pop it wouldn’t be much different then my motu (masters of the universe) collection or comics or art. But then as they ramped up production I figure I was already all in and I’m a bit of a completist anyway. But then it was just spite. I wasn’t gonna let hot toys win. I was gonna get them all no matter what. So, like I said, *****. But I’ve been looking for a good jumping off point to stop buying them all. Solo did for me. Good movie. No interest in the figures at all. (Though I may just wait till mms500 and pick up the solo stuff anyway when it goes on sale, then I could say I have everything up till mms500) but as of now I have not ordered the solo stuff.

incredible collection.
am guessing the mms500 would be the diecast iron man mark 7 or mark 1.

I cant even imagine what all of the iron men together would look like.

I have a few hot toys figures but probably not even 75 in number. I started when i first saw the rocky figures, but like an ***** i only got the street version of clubber lang.

The game changer for me was the predator dutch figure. I had to have that. And then i had to have the pirates of the carribean cannibal sparrow...then dc, then marvel, then star wars and so on.

Hey, if you can afford it, more power to you :hi5:

I am not married. Divorced, so that should answer the question. Lol (not why I got divorced, just a joke)

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole there's all the military figures they released and aren't exactly easy to get any more....

I’ve got a couple. And a few loose I bought to use the bodies back when they where cheap. I spent years active duty and still have a closet full of uniforms so I never really saw the need to get a bunch of little versions of what I wore every day anyway. Lol

I’m cutting back on my hot toys stuff but other companies are finally making better quality stuff so I’ve started picking up other stuff. Like the fallout 4 power armor stuff. Or the upcoming assassins creed figures. Mondo Batman and looking forward to the 1/6 he-man and skeletor from them also. So probably not gonna save a ton of money or space, at least not as much as I’d like.

I think most people thought the same thing. No worries, as it’s not a big deal anyway.

Damn. That's hardcore to have all the released HT figures. Does that including the ultra-rare Iron Man with a run size of 15 or whatever it was? Or is there no SKU on that one?

I would guess that I've got less than 50 at this point, but even that fills up my attic with all the damn boxes.

I don’t think I have that one. I’d have to double check. I’ve got the movie promo special edition that was pretty limited. And i think the one your talking about was pretty much that one only given a new slip case and you couldn’t buy it you had to win a raffle to get it or something like that. That one didnt get it’s own regular SKU or numbering I don’t think.

Yeah those boxes take up a ton of room man.

And a collection of around 50% is pretty dang impressive.

Maybe referring to the Joint Promo Avengers Mk6 that only had a run of 16. Only difference is that it had a light-up base and the Mech Test Tony head instead of the Mk4 headsculpt.
