Anyone tried cleaning a 1:1 endoskeleton?

Sup guys,

I'm looking at getting a 1:1 Battle Damaged Endoskeleton, just wanted to find out if anyone has one of these, and cleaned it up? I'm not prepared to spend $15,000 for the one on Ebay at the moment, so this is my other option.

I have and it worked great, Acetone is the thing to use, I didn't go 100% clean but my Battle Damage was almost black. It will chow defects in the chrome, But all in all it was well worth it.

Really? The guys cleaning the endo bust combat edition have been saying to use non-acetone nail polish.

No, no, no! Use acetonefree pads.... I bought some in a local shop, and the result turned out great! Also, I didn't mind the smell since the pads smelled like flowers..

Hey man. I've been looking all over for the pads but have come up empty. I did manage to get non acetone nail polish remover. Anyone tried the liquid and get it to work safely?

if your on about the life size full figure, it has battle damage as bullit dings physicaly cut into the model, so you could clean the black paint off but you will be left with the physical marks.

I wonder...Aren't those bullit dings and marks present on the clean version too?
I remember seeing the back of both versions and the physical damage looked the same except for the black painted residu.

Yeah, I think the only actual difference between the two versions is the paint. The non-battle damaged one has some dings in it, from what I understand.

The plating is different. the clean version is tripple plated.

Guy please..when you work with Acetone, make sure you wear glove and respirator or work in good ventilation place. Acetone is carcinogen and it can adsorb through skin very quickly.

They should use non-acetone products.
