Well I am sure I didn't get one that match the proto paint job for all you folks who debated yesterday.

I have to say I haven't had problem with QC since Spider Woman EX, about 6 months ago when they *found* some extra stock that wasn't good enough for me to keep. I guess my luck have run out.

Numerous rubs on his body, bad paint job, pencil marks, missing/not enough paint, too much paint.














I hope there is replacement for me...

Yes, my friend also got the Apo but many defects on the body, leg, cracked base and even wet paint found around the cave where was inserted by metal branch. We are very disappointed to SS QC.

Shipped from China to America then CA to you...I highly doubt it was wet paint.

After a closer examination, I found some bad spots on the right boot. Not sure if it's worth asking for a replacement.
Are all pieces made in china ? I don't recall seeing "made in china" on my previous boxes.

I'm pretty sure everyone has minor paint issues like zero posted. I have the same minor issues along his legs but not to obvious.

Another oversized shipper sighs time to play shipper tetris in my garage.



@col no worries I tend to get drunky during World Cup I meant no disrespect. Hoping to finish work today and drink and make mini rust cohle with the empties lol perhaps I'll have a full team by tomorrow night.

Yup! All Chinese made, like most things today.

If you have to really look to find a fault chances are you will get the 'these items are all individually hand painted so there will be slight variations' responce.

You can easily to see the raw polystone under the wet paint....

Even I have a few imperfections on my piece. I think they stand out more because of the smooth paintjob. My wife doesn't think they are a big deal though.

BTW, I like this thing even more today.

Col you've got to admit there's a rather disturbing amount of issues on this release thus far. I've had several quality pieces from SS but as little as they may be these defects are on almost every Apoc we have seen. Go to the superman thread or black widow thread and there's not a single peep about QC issues. I get that there's no perfect hand painted statue but this thread is turning into a QC horror flick

Not the Magnified ones but yeah there's a few issues.
Hopefully SS will sort them out.
