The Bowen piece is small, but it's so bad ***

The pose with both regular hands is a perfect representation of the power of apocalypse, the custom 1/4 scale and the sideshow piece are awesome, but the Bowen design is still my favorite and Bowen gives you every xmen display option you could want with all their statues being in scale with each other.

Sorry to say, but that's the recasted version. Courtmaster (the original commissioner of the piece) never released the hand with the originals...true story... Look at the tiny head on him also looks nothing like mine or the original...just saying...

If anyone thinks other wise I can have courtmaster himself come on and tell you that's a FAKE!

I bought it from Courtmaster studios directly. Contacted Joel myself and he offered the switch out hand with it, are you saying he makes recasts of his own pieces?

I agree about the Bowen Apoc ...

Bowen does AMAZNG statues that look like they came RIGHT out of the comic ..., SSC does most as if they entered the real world... Both have a lot of value and have a lot of fans.

Damn I just can't express enough how much I'm in love with this statue!
I'm sure it's going to have an ES. Why else would they make other S/O parts. The EX!
EX means ES!

Even though I'm in love with the Sideshow version of the Big "A". I still think this is the best 1/4 comic accurate Big "A" on the market.



If that Sideshow's Apocalypse is anywhere the size of this or bigger. I'm telling you right now. I'm going to need an oxygen mask when I open him up.

It truly is. I have the BD Apocalypse and it is an AWESOME looking statue. Can't wait to add the SSC Apocalypse to my collection as well. That just looks like such a fierce piece. Both statues are great representations of the character. You can't go wrong with either of them.

No he doesn't recast his own statues. I contacted courtmaster myself this morning and the misunderstanding was clarified.

I would love to see bowen get the 1/4 scale license. More competition is always a good thing.

I don't think that you'll find many that would disagree with your sentiment. Even those of us that have the 1/4 custom.

There are some really great statues out there but some really great companies but in the end there is a really why Sideshow are top of their game.
They are the best at what they do
