Silly question but did anyone happen to take a tape measure with them to comic con I'm building display cases maybe someone can give a rough estimate on his dimensions.

Well, Gladiator Hulk is supposed to be 30", so you can use that as a guide (based on the pics from SDCC). I believe some people have said Apocalypse is nearly as tall, maybe slightly shorter.

If it were me, I'd allow for at least 30" in height.

Something is telling me that with the chainsaw attached it's gonna be a little taller than 30". Without the chainsaw I'm thinking that it'll be around 25"-26" tall.

At SDCC the Hulk was on a raised platform next to Apocalypse and from base to the end of the chainsaw, Apocalypse was still taller.

:horror...preach to the congregation brother I'm listening...:yess:

What would be your guess on the height of this piece with the chainsaw attached?

Yeah, it sure looked that way to me. This is going to be a BEAST of a statue. I can't wait for this killer piece to go up for PO. Nothing else shown at the Con comes close to my desire to own this piece. IMHO, Apocalypse rules all!

Hey guys, newbie here. Love Apocalypse, hated him as a baddie so you know thats a good thing. We love to hate the best ones. Cannot wait for En Sabah Nur to be mine, im just hoping that they keep him under 450 :dance

If you mean $450 I highly doubt it unfortuantly but I would love it if it was though.

I don't see $450 either

It's more wishful thinking than anything else. To be honest I'd see him as closer to the GH. Just think that GH is already ridiculous considering he doesnt even have an EX.

Yeah, could be right. Dr. Banner, you're probably best waiting for the official dimensions from SS.

:rotfl:lol:rotfl:rotfl:lol I can see 599.99 plus! But I do wished it was 399.99 to 450.00 max.

It honest looks awesome! Inspired me to go pick up the Age of Apacolypse story arc!

I think I got AoA in one of my comic boxes, too lazy to go pick thru them though lol.

Yeah I posted as well that its wishful thinking but yes I do also see it closer to the GH PF price. However since it has less detailing overall (no shield, helmet, no massive sword, no mixed media like any fabric clothing for example and is much simpler in design, overall paint application) and a base that isn't as detailed and to be honest is pretty basic and lame, I think anything over $500-550 is just gauging for money! Regardless of an extra arm EX or not. :lecture

Finally, a man with normal vision, & an unbiased honest opinion.:goodpost: This sculpt is so flat, it looks like an oversized bowen piece.:slap:gah:

As for the rest of you self deluding fanboys, you are a huge part of the problem. lapping up any **** SS doles out, while they don't keep up quality, & still continue to ask ridiculous prices. And why should they change when they have a legion of zombie fanboys?:cuckoo:

If we don't collectively make a stand, SS quality will continue to be watered down, & stagnate. So drink-up boys, & cheers.

Hey I agree. The character is very cool and all. But I agree with both of you. The size of this is what it as going. After the shock of seeing him made, I agree paint looks flat, and details are not as good as I thought. My 672 cents.

If I'm honest I really like this piece & I'll buy it as long as it isn't more than the G.Hulk PF but hey were all entitled to our opinions. Not that many people seemed to like the Green Lantern PF but I bought it because I liked it. Not many see my collection other than me so I'm not worried who likes it or not. To call me sheep for liking this is pretty lame

I'm not saying that anyone who buys this is off. What I am saying is that this has been a sought after piece for many collectors for a very long time, myself included, & Sideshow knows it. Hence they can throw anything out there, at any price, & people will gobble it up, & they have. In essence, too many are settling for way too less, for paying so much more, & insanely justifying it?!:cuckoo:.

Now, Sideshow knowing the extreme anticipation by collectors for this character should have done him way more justice, & ourselves. Instead, I feel they did the bare minimum, with a fairly generic pose, lacking many details, with a relatively flat paint job.

And lets face it, I don't see them making another anytime soon, so this was it! And no, I'm not trying to piss on anybodies shoes, as I criticized the Rhino comi as well, & yes I bought it. Why? Because, again, I don't see them making another anytime soon, & he is an essential character for the Spidey rogues gallery. But Sideshow making it in fiberglass, & passing it off as this grand improvement was a joke, & an insult. And for the morons who defended the fiberglass fiasco, by arguing that better details were achieved???!!! A ****ing joke!!!! All you have to do is compare the Rhino head (polystone) to the cheapened fiberglass body.:slap

So there you have it, again. And the worst part of all this for me? Is that I am probably going to get it anyways, cause I really don't trust SS to do a better one down the line, if ever. But, I ain't very happy about it.
