So they are throwing random ads up when you are doing things on your phone?

I think it is just in specific applications that third party people make. Hopefully there is a way to disable.

It will be on Safari. Developers will get money if they enable the ads in their apps it looks like...iAds are turning on on July 1

The competition has its work cut out for them. They not only need to catch up on specs, but on a UI that isn't clunky. Apple needs to get out of AT&T exclusivity though.. that's the only thing that could be hurting them.

Someone asks if AT&T can handle it. That is unclear.
You can do iPhone 4 to iPhone 4, anywhere there’s WI-Fi. (No 3G calling, as expected.)
You can use the front or the rear camera. (No talk of iPhone 4 to Mac yet either.)

That would suck A LOT of bandwidth. I assume this netflix streaming will be wi-fi only? Or did they say it could go over 3G?

WiFi only video calling that's restricted only to iPhone 4 users is beyond lame. Why not be able to "call" ichat users too?

Portrait and landscape are supported, and will be Wi-Fi only (confirmed) in 2010. Said they will work with cellular providers to get the cell networks ready. Ha.

Demo: Father watching kids on business trip, grandparents watching a graduation, two girls showing off what they’re wearing to each other. Guy in a locker room watching an ultrasound. Now they’re showing a demo of people using FaceTime talking to babies. Even people talking using sign language.
