Not sure if you guys are aware but you can pick up a warranty through a company called square trade for $5.99 a month. It covers the phone for two years to include accidents like dropping it. There is a $50 deductible. This is the best coverage I was able to find and seemed to make the most sense for the money. The got pretty good reviews for their coverage from gizmondo as well. :yess:

I went ahead and ordered that a few days ago. Keep in mind it does not cover loss/theft. I've never lost a phone so I am not too worried about it. :rock

Yeah you can't beat it for the price. They have good reviews too. So I feel much better now about the phone. If it breaks it breaks. :lol

But a more important question, who offers coverage against theft?? :dunno

I've noticed that my e-mail is not being pushed to my new iPhone, even though that's how it's set. I have to tap the mail icon and enter the app for it to refresh and check for new mail. Never had any problems with the old phone. Weird.

Are you sure you have it set right? I know there are options for it to refresh every 15 minutes through an hour I believe.

You can have the phone push mail automatically, or schedule it to fetch every 15/30/60 minutes. Mine is set to push instantly, but it's very sporadic since I got the new phone. Not sure what the deal is...

Push is dependent of the mail server and if it has that ability and not really the phone. My push from exchange for work email is faster then outlook on my pc.

You CAN beat that price, by a mile. I insure my iPhone and my iPad each for $30 a year. No deductible and it covers theft, accident, loss, etc.

Who I insure it with? State Farm. Call them.

Luis

Bringing this thread back so I don't make a new Apple thread. Has anyone bought or even played with the new 27" iMacs with the new video card? I'm thinking about buying one, but wanted to see if anyone here has it. Also, I have the same question in regards to the Magic Trackpad??

We have one @ the office and it is gorgeous. You'll want to climb into the screen and walk around. No problems yet in a design environment.

Haven't played with the Magic Trackpad yet, but I really want to. I love my MBP's trackpad.

ATI Radeon HD 5670 (512MB)

Ah, they could have stepped up the video card a bit.

But I am also a nvidia fanboy.

Awesome!!! The newest ones have the 1GB ATI 5750 video card now which is why I'm willing to jump on it. It sucks now that I moved away from Tampa where there's 2 Apple stores within 20 minutes of each other. I'd always go to one and play with the new toys, but now I'd have to drive over 2 hours to visit an Apple store.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that quad-core beast. You're getting a damn fine machine.
