Okay - isn't it time that we get the preview for the next maquette soon? I wonder if it'll be Arwen or Gimli?

My guess would be Arwen since she was part of the 12 days group that we saw clearly.

But you know how prankish those guys at SS are Josh. We might even get Eomer or Faramir next (they mentioned them recently).

It'll probably be a bit for me. I canceled my original order, got on the wait-list, which converted on 1-20-11.

I really want a baddie next, but have a very strong sneaking suspicion it is going to be Arwen. The coming weeks are going to seem longer with the wait for second shipment Aragorn. At least I'm a first day order for all exclusives from here on out.

Yeah, I'd like to see a baddie next. Maybe we'll get Sauron and get to see what Jerry has been working on. Though, I will be happy with Arwen or a chance to really stare at Tim's work on Gimli.

I fired off a question to SS yesterday morning concerning that very topic. I wanted to know whether we'll see Arwen or Gimli next...and when. Like you, I'm leaning towards Arwen, with SS saving Gimli for SDCC.

But you know how prankish those guys at SS are Josh. We might even get Eomer or Faramir next (they mentioned them recently).

Yes, SS mentioned the designs for Eomer and Faramir have been completed, but were talking about upwards of a year from the time a sculpt is started to the time it becomes available for pre-order so there is no way we'll see either of these characters before we see Arwen, Gimli, and Boromir.

I think your creative team should really be commended in the way they have approached the new LOTR maquette line. Obviously a lot of thought and consideration has gone into the execution of this line! We can’t wait to see what’s next after first 6 or so that we’ve seen in progress – any hints? Or even more photos of Arwen, Gimli & Boromir would be appreciated! – AND – Has Sideshow decided which characters will be produced as part of a “second wave” of LOTR statues? And if so, do they include any of the following characters: Faramir, Eomer, Denethor,or Haldir? And whichever characters are in the planning stage? I think I can speak for all LOTR fans when I say none of us will be upset should you decide to post more conceptual drawings for us to drool over!
Major, major thanks. We’ll share your feedback with all involved! You’ll see more of Arwen and Gimli soon, and Boromir shortly after. Faramir and Eomer have been designed (and they look great). Denethor and Haldir will wait for further down the road. We’ll see about sharing more of the design work with you soon!

Yeah, its been a bit. I've actually submitted a couple questions one GI Joe and one LOTR. Would be cool to see them answered.

Not necessarily. SS did give us a heads up concerning Legolas, but I think that was only because they were being hounded by people wanting to know where the "coming shortly after SDCC" Legolas was. We had no heads up on either Aragorn or GTG.

As for a glimpse of some baddies, I've been asking SS about this every week for several month's now.....I'd love them to produce another maquette video similar to the introductory video where they show us the conceptual art of some of the baddies they have planned for us.

Yeah a video with the baddies is a good idea. Would give us a good idea of where they plan to take the baddies in this line.
