I shudder to think if LOTR will ever be modernized to appeal to the ADD generation a la Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet. If so, I think they'll have to quote Freman and have Eowyn say to the Morgul Lord during their confrontation at the Pelennor Fields "I am a girl damn it! Quit calling me dude."

I think the likeness is off a little bit with this one.
Still like it though.

The likeness on the pf is better IMO. I think it's the nose and I actually think I may display with the hood.

Viggo has always had difficulties when it comes to likeness issues - not really surprised to hear this.

He looks strange in some pics like this one cause I didn't realize there was a hood to put on seperatly with the ex head.

He looks strange in some pics like this one cause I didn't realize there was a hood to put on seperatly with the ex head.

I'd be sending the head sculpt back with the wonky eye, but that aside the sculpt looks fantastic to me....

Glad to finally see pics of this. I think we waited way too long to see the first LOTR maquette. But not impressed at all. Sculpt is there, but paint apps are killing the piece...yet again, IMO.
