...my g/f saw this and actually thought it was worth buying! First time ever. She's very, very picky about these things. She doesn't even like the Indiana Jones PF... I kid you not!

The more I think about it, I'm not really sold on the ex. I think I may cancel my order and pick up the reg for a whole lot cheaper. Still an awsome PF though.

Same here. The dagger makes makes the statue a tad too busy. I'm on the lookout for a well-priced reg.

I also thought it was a bit too busy. The sword and open hand are fine.

My sentiments exactly. For me the Lurtz excl. was a must, but I know I'll never display Aragorn with the knife..it just seems out of place.

The exclusive isn't a must like Lurtz was (in my opinion). But, I'm 2/2 on the other 2 exclusives (Lurtz and Gandalf the White) and I am gonna be 3/3 after Aragorn.

This is my most anticipated collectible for 2008. Followed closely by the Indiana Jones p.f.

I agree that the exclusive isn't that great but how much do you really save by going through a dealer anymore? You get $15 in rewards points if you buy the exclusive through SS so you'd save what, $10 maybe by going through a dealer? I'll take the extra display option and extra piece of mind through SS's customer service over a $10 savings.

You have to remeber though, the only piece that has stayed at retail for LOTR pretty much is the lurtz ex. I have seen GTW,Frodo, and regular versions of Lurtz go for far less on the bay but it requires a bit of patience.

I also felt the knife seemed somewhat out of place, but again my girl was adament it was better with the closed gripping hand compared to the open one. Still not sure myself, but options are options.

Ah, I see. Well I wonder how much the regular will go for then. If we're talking $200-$225 then I'd definitely go for that over the exclusive.

Ya it is really worth it sometimes. Last summer I got a regular Lurtz for $200 shipped and an Exclusive for $350 shipped.

Yeah my first impression was that the regular pose might be better but i am not certain so why not get the exclusive and have both options.

Of course if your going to wait to get the regular later at a cheaper price then all good for you.

Hey all, just making my way around the forums, making myself known since I'm new. Putting my opinion in on these awesome PF's also and I have to say this Aragorn is one of the best likenesses that I've seen, as many others have already said. I missed out on ordering it, but maybe I can get it later down the road on a second chance if the opportunity arises. But I'll be receiving the Gandalf The White PF in a few days, and the Anakin PF in a couple months or so from StarWarsShop.com. So in closing, Aragorn PF =

Yeah I would get on the waitlist, but I'm in the same boat as other people, scraping up funds as it is. That's why I said maybe I can get it on a second chance or dealer when funds are in a better state. Can't get them all I guess, as much as you want to.
