In a perfect world of unlimited money, unlimited display space, and unlimited patience from my girlfriend, I'd be a completist with the LOTR SS/Weta line, as well as the following:

Sideshow PF LOTR
Sideshow PF Star Wars
Sideshow 12" Star Wars and LOTR
Weta Collectibles (Everything)
Master Replicas Star Wars vehicles (All of 'em)

Again, that's in a perfect world.

As it stands, however, I'm limiting myself to a few Sith and Jedi 12" figs, a small helping of Star Wars PFs, and those SS/W LOTR statues I already possess. None of these lines will ever be complete.

WOW!!! I guess there are less completist than I thought.

....any more votes?? :monkey1

I'm a yes and no. I think I may end up getting all the 12" LOTR figures and all the 12" Angel figures. So far I have pre-orders for all of those. As for anything else I'm a pick and chooser. I have only a few SS/WETA items and there's no way I could ever afford (or even find room for) in regards to the LOTR PF line.

Thank goodness for the cheapness of the 12" figures. :D

I think im a completists first i thought i will complete the collection of SSW LOTR but its difficult nowadays, so i think ill be a completist with the 12 LOTR :D

I am going to try to complete the lotr 12" and pf lines and the star wars 12", but that is it. Everything else, I pick and choose.

I think most people would consider me an elitist completist. After seeing the Women of DC busts at SDCC I got all of them, even Wonder woman which I didn't (and still don't) like all that much.

As for SSC stuff - If I start a line I get everything for the most part. I don't have the PF Phantom - that's the only color monster I don't have.

Does being a completist of products within a line count? For example, I have the complete medallion set from the SSW LOTR poly line.

And I do intend on being a completist of GG's SW OT animated maquettes. I have all released to date on pre-order and plan to order the ones displayed at SDCC.

Other than that, I just pick and choose what I like among three main companies: Sideshow, GG and MR.

Yup. That is considered as a completist, because it is complete. :D And list the line that you think or want to complete no matter how much you have to spend.

Also, it doesn't matter what company. :D

Oh good. Then I am a completist for the Sideshow 12" Scarface line. Yep, got my one and waiting on the last one. :lol

I really don't have enough space to be a completist. Gave that dream up after I started running out of room just after buying two PF. So I have gotten every single SW 12" (exclusive/inclusive and regular) but will probably stop buying the regulars now. Thought I might use the early 12" regulars as trade bait a couple of years from now. :monkey3

Tragically, yes! I am a completist. Although I will have to draw a line on Star Wars having gone for everything put out so far (and only missing out on the Leia Boush exclusive because I was taxi-ing my daughter...grrrr). Got all the Bonds and villains, all the Buffy and Angels, all the X Files except Krycek and will get all of LOTR.

I am now very, very poor and have no room in my house!!!!!!

Bring on Wesley, Gunn and Illyria.:D

Unfortunately for my wallet I am completist:monkey2 I have to have all of the figures SS releases from: 12"Buffy, Angel, SW and LOTR. I bought The Subject 5 also, so now I'm trying to get Patient Zero (uff, maybe one day I will be lucky and get him for a reasonable price:monkey2 ).My collection is still missing some early figures from Buffy line and it annoys me very much:monkey4 Life is not so easy if you are a completist:rotfl But I love my collection very much and every figure added (new and from older realases) is my treasure!!!!:chew

This is a tough question for me. On some things I am and others I am not. Take the Star Wars PF's. So far I have them all except GG. So for these, I am for the OT characters, but not PT. Same for the Gentle Giant busts.

As for the Star Wars 12" line I have ordered them all so far.

So, in short, for some lines yes and some lines no depending on OT vs PT.

I bought Willow and Faith from the Buffy line... so I gess that means I am a completist. :monkey3
