In any case, I can firmly say that this is the first MGS game (EVER) that I have not pre-ordered. I'm sure that Kojima can think of a better way that I can fund his paycheck, that doesn't involve ripping me off.

Haha yeah, that's how I felt too I have no intentions of preordering this unless I find it with the Metallic PAK. Which doesn't look like it'll happen anytime soon

To be completely honest. I never pre-order games. I've pre-order like 2 in my life and those were in my adult years, not even long ago.

I never have pre-ordered a MGS game, ever....

Reading on a preview by CVG I'm not too bothered to be honest with you as there is little to no story uncovered in this demo.

Pre-ordered it on PS4. Is it a rip off? Yep. Have I payed more for games that I won't end up getting as much use out of in the long run. Yep.

I'll play the hell out of all 2 hours of it, and check out whatever other side missions are included. I remember playing the MGS2 demo included w/ ZOE on PS2 more than I ever played ZOE. I'm not justifying the price, but anymore there aren't a whole lot of games that I feel the need to drop money on at release date knowing that they'll eventually hit the 20-30 dollar range so this won't break the bank.

I know a lot of people don't really care for Kojima and his antics anymore, but at the end of the day it's his intellectual property and will still be a lot more interesting than most other games/demos out there. Maybe the series is screwed and will end up the equivalent to Terminator 3 in comparison to the first Terminator movie (milking a loved series just because they can), but I won't know 'til I play it.

i can agree with everything you said. still going to buy it whenever. ill have the japanese copy with the pak figure. to me its unplayable that way because i wont beabe to understand it so it wont even get unwrapped. havent even bought a ps4 yet. i played all mgs demos to death except for peacewalker, i didnt own a psp to do so but later bought one to play it but waited for the ps3 version to give it a go. i wish i never sold my peacewalker psp, but whatever. im not in it for the story, im in it for the grapics and the figure, i know ive beat that into the ground already.

Same, I didn't play PW until I got the HD collection, I had it and a PSP but learned mobile gaming is not my thing. I voted "depends" because had I not been surprised with a PS4 as a birthday present I was going to wait on this, and it'll be my first PS4 game. Should've put that in my first post.

Same here, I’m dropping 30 bucks on this on release, it will probably be better than most of the games i dropped 60 bucks on this year. Solid you should stream some gameplay from your PS4 when you get the game.
