My boy Mike D.
Be humbled in front of him. If you'll be seeing him all days of the convention at Phoenix, possibly coerce him into doing something for you on the last day, if he has time, and if you weren't able to win his raffles anyways. If it doesn't work out, let him know you'll be trying to see him at SDCC and you're gonna try really hard to see him there. A little can go a long way with JSC and if it doesn't work out at Phoenix Con you've at least set up ground work for a possible SDCC sketch.
Don't be afraid to hang at his table, watch him draw, ask him (thoughtful) questions, and just come off as a guy who loves the industry and you should be all good. Just popping up and disappearing on him in 10 minute bursts never really work, and even if you're feeling like you're stepping on peoples toes while doing it, do it. Just do it nicely
Sweet pics, JJJ!
Here is my Chavez BQ with my Frost drawing...
Gotta get them both framed now.

^^^^ Good morning!!
Nice scores Snoop, should look great on the wall.
So instead, I picked up these two prints, which I really really really like.
Sadly, I can no longer afford Mike Debalfo's original work. I was lucky to get the three originals of his when i did over the past two years. I think he finally realized how good he is and is now charging close to EBAS prices for his stuff, which is completely understandable.
