He's still doing sketches at shows, so not too late. I may ask him to do one tomorrow if I get there early enough. The stuff I was looking at was mostly original cover work and they're now going for 800-900 for starters it seems. I was prepared to buy something for about a third to half that. Oh well. It's all good. Mike is good people from the few times I've spoken to him. I wish him huge success.

Yea, I've met him once at San Diego, but he only showed up on the last day and I was out of money when I saw the stuff I wanted to buy out of his portfolio I got a head sketch, but it's really not enough

Sadly, I can no longer afford Mike Debalfo's original work. I was lucky to get the three originals of his when i did over the past two years. I think he finally realized how good he is and is now charging close to EBAS prices for his stuff, which is completely understandable. So instead, I picked up these two original pieces, which I really really really like.

He is the best. So personable and a great guy. The whole group are really a great team and nice. Especially if your bring Ebas a bottle.

I remember Mike did a quick sketch of catwoman in my book and it was truly a beautiful piece.

Yes I am, and I brought it up the last last time I saw him, and he knew about it, but I think that list is pretty deep and he is pretty busy. I don't want to bug him about it too much.

I will say that after all is said and done, it's currently valued at $6k for the high quality frame, the piece itself, and the fact that the art was printed in one of his sketchbooks
