This is a massive improvement over the original figure, headsculpt is a leap forward (with the goggles on...but then I would always have the goggles on a riddick figure anyway) and his body proportions much better. I ended up selling the previous figure a little while ago for those reasons and jumped on the preorder for this. Looking forward to it.

Yeah I regret not getting the first version. Eventually when Riddick (2013) I really wanted a version of that outfit also. Maybe if people have the first can try this new body out on that and the sculpt. I probably won't see it ship until next week sometimes I get stuff from Kit in a week or two and others for 2 months.

I did have the first release for many years.....he was just too slight and narrow. His head sculpt as well as the general body. It bothered me enough that I sold him on in the end, despite being a big Riddick fan. I'm usually one for sellers remorse, but funnily enough not in that case.

If this looks like the proto pictures, it's a huge improvement on likeness and and the previous figure overall. Fingers crossed the proto pictures are reliable.

Sweet. Definitely don’t see any issues with the scale o FB the head here. Still, I really wish I could get him in his more iconic outfit but maybe someday.
Now if only lockdown didn’t mean that none of my packages from KGHobby will arrive any time soon I could actually begin to feel excitement and anticipation. This will be figure number 4 that’s just sitting in limbo.

Sculpt is very different from the promo, this looks like a retouched version of their Fast and Furious Diesel. Body is good but it might be worth to switch to an M33. I am not convinced by the shoulder armor, looks too flat.
