Now that doesn't sound healthy at all. Shouldn't we be focused more on actually sharing thoughts and opinions rather than just blurting out stuff without reason. Just thought I asked what was grinding his gears

Oh no, I'm sorry for any misconception. I wasn't talking about you. I was more or less adding to what you were saying. Malgus called the Gaurdians boring compared to the Avengers and gave no reason why.

And if it counts I went to see Malgus's previous posts in other threads, I understand where you're coming from.

this pic looks awesome, I will get whatever they release from this assuming its the normal hot toys quality, I think this will be near end of the film seeing as they all appear to be in same colour/uniform and Rocket even has star lord's symbol on

I hope HT gives GotG the Avengers treatment, and not the X-men treatment. It would be nice to have the entire set altogether on a shelf. LOL something tells me that the initial reaction to the Batista figure would be ugly joints and body too small

I'd be happy if RR would cost no more than $150. SSC's little guy, Yoda, was $100 with lots of extras.

I was actually thinking that Groot would be a perfect opportunity to expand the Power Pose line. Since they have limited articulation as what we've seen with the Red Snapper, I don't see why Groot would be any different. Being a tree, I don't see him doing backflips or the splits anytime soon

Looking forward to (hopefully) making this the first "collection" of figures that I have, I've got a variety of differing figures but no team (Avengers, X-men and the ilk) as of yet. Guardians is my second most anticipated film of the year second to the Winter Soldier (partially because it looks awesome and partially because its out sooner). Just got to hope its successful enough for Hot Toys to make the full set.

Nah, as long as the figures sell well... you'll get the team. It helps that they are flying the Marvel banner.
I think Hot Toys will milk any Marvel franchise as much as possible, knowing full well that it's their most successful line.

Sir, what makes these Gaurdians anymore uninteresting than the Avengers? I'm just curious in hearing your point of view more.

I find those costumes boring. I have no interest in owning those as they exist.

I mostly ignore Lipsmack because he follows me around behaving like a scorned emotional female looking to over react to everything I post. (I guess its only a matter time before a moderator notices he follows me around trying to instigate). The weird thing is his forum also seem to have some people besides him/her who would attack you for no reason you can think of. Then you realise you you might have said something that offended one of their man friends and they are bent on revenge.


Anyway I find the look of the characters from that screen shoot boring. I am entitled to state my opinion.

True, do they have the license for Days? Not that bothered either way as the designs are a bit..."meh" in my opinion, though like you say given it will probably be another wolverine it doesn't really matter.

As for that trailer trailer I find it mad that 15 seconds can hype me up so much. Now to wait for the full trailer then the (far too long) wait for the film itself
