I love Arkham City, but I need a break. We Batman fans already have 5 figures, and 4 vehicles (from the Nolan films alone) coming, not to mention the 89 Batmobile. What you have to remember is that there is a core audience to this stuff. Not Nolan fans or Burton fans; Batman fans. I never thought I'd say this, but it's too much stuff to be getting hit with at once. I actually think that I'm going to have to pass on some stuff(unless I hit the powerball or take up a second job as an escort).

You took the words out of my mouth - I feel the exact same way. I like "Batman", not just one version of him. But, our wallets are definitely being hit hard with all of the releases. I'm already scrambling right now, to find some way to squeeze the Batpod in with Joker 2.0 and the DX12. Not to mention that Catwoman is on the way! .

I love Arkham City, and it's quite ironic, that last thing I'd want is an Arkham City Batman right on the horizon, after I've paid tremendously for all of the TDKR stuff .

Um, you do know that you can pick and choose what you opt to buy - right?

Just because things are being released doesn't mean you have to buy them all right away - hell, you might even be able to save yourself some money by waiting a few months after the release of a figure and seeing if you can find it cheaper than full retail. It's part of the thrill of the chase.

Or you can do something really radical and say "no" altogether. I love Batman, but I have no plans on getting the SSC 1/6 figure (Harley, one the other hand...)

I was referring mainly to the Hot Toys figures, and not the one being released by SSC. In any case, I don't like "the thrill of the hunt". I like to receive my figures in mint condition at the time of release. SSC and other retailers tend to resell their returns, exchanges, and defective items at full price. So, I'm not fond of the idea of purchasing something at a later date - that's possibly used, and could have been handled and displayed by someone else.

Saying "no" is impractical if you're already dead-set on having collection of figures . For me, anyway.

Hey, I'm in the same position as you, Nova. Congrats on Xavier, by the way. I still am on the fence about whether or not that version of the character is visually interesting enough to warrant a figure, but, that being said, HT did a damn fine job of replicating what we saw on screen. Hopefully, you get Magneto soon.
