Here's a thought. If "China is getting expensive" now, because they are tired of being the underpaid slaves of the globe, why not stop using them?

This is similar to what Amok Time told us repeatedly as to why product was so late. Global changes, economic upheaval. Blacula anyone?

At what point does it simply become just as feasible to simply make things in America again? Once you figure in labor, production, transport/freight, etc., it has to add up to big $$$$.

I think people just get used to doing things a certain way and then never alter the formula despite it no longer being as fianacial bonanza anymore.

Make the things here. People who want to work would line up to staff the place with unemployment as high as it is right now.

Besides---if he goes the "custom" route, he's gonna be making them at his kitchen table. Which, I am assuming, is in the United States.

I'm gunna wait til I get the offical word tommorrow to deside what I'm gunna do with my order. I was hoping to hear the april release was gunna happen and with this news now likely to be pushed many more months. I will keep my order if the delay is a month or two but any longer than that an I will ask for a refund, wait for this to actually release then pay for it then.

I really hate all this I really wanted SHS to do something here but they have let me down this news doesn't seem good I don't get how china is expensive is a good excuse what does that even mean Dooley even went as far as to go after Beto for his fluffy for what reason I thought to protect his license but seems he was just being a ******* now anyone who wanted a fluffy has no chance at all an honestly I would of rather had Betos I'm sure it would of blew anything away that SHS would have come out with anyway thanks for nothing how do I go about getting a refund has anyone tried I'm sure it's probably a long shot at this point sorry for long run on sentence lol just had to rant I have been on SHS side the whole time but this has pushed me over the edge what the heck Dooley

My guess is updates will more likely come in an email to customers (or Facebook update) and then be shared here. Unlike some other projects this isn't just for SSF so I don't think he has to com here and post, although coming here would help. As long as it's posted somewhere it will be shared.

But he was so involved with the forum while trying to solicit payments. Now that he's been paid and is running into problems, he hasn't logged in since February. I think you're probably right, but considering that a huge base of potential support for his company and product are here, I think communicating directly will help. Unfortunately, reading the writing on the wall, I'm not sure he would have anything very comforting to say.

I don't know what your problem/personal stake is. I'm actually trying to help the company out. I've seen issues time and again where communications breakdowns leads to problems and anxiety, both with official companies and individuals. But whatever it is, it is.

Boy I sure wish I had similar experience.

Ooops I forgot that I have dealt directly with hundreds of such things as a commerce mod here. Likely more experience than you had since that was before iTrader. My experience has taught me that stoking the fires such as your posts and others have done, does little to actually aid the situation and actually does more harm than good to everyone's interests. Sooooo....
