Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

Jean Grey Phoenix 1/4th has been my number 1 want for years now and the Jim Lee Jean Grey is a close runner up...I hope that Tony Cipriano isn't doing the sculpting and my big fear is that Sideshow is going to completely screw up the final product.

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

I'm disappointed this isn't going to be a Dark Pheonix PF, but I'm still excited to see how it turns out.

I'm really happy it isn't Phoenix, but "regular" Jean from the 90's. Don't get me wrong, I'd like a Phoenix, but I'd love a Jean.

Jean from the cartoon would be nice too

I saw this bumped up and got super excited :(

Hopefully they will show something soon...

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

The only thing I've heard is that it is a challenging project and they are hoping to show it in 2014 that was ssalex over on statue forum who kindly answered it :)

i wonder what part of it is giving them trouble?

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

I'm wondering too. Hopefully they are trying to make it appear like she's levitating a bit over the base and that's what's causing a little trouble.

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

I love Jim Lee's art in comics, I have always hated this version of her costume! That V pattern with the shoulder metal pads is not a silhouette any woman (aside from Joan Collins in Dynasty) would try to wear:)

Back in the day, shoulder pads were the rage with women.

Well the pose is going to be like the artwork isn't it? So leaning? Maybe a thick long peg just at the end of the foot holding her up. It shows the sketch at the beginning of the Wonder Woman Production Peek video

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

About time... the Xmen line seem to be snoozing for a while

Re: Jean Grey - Jim Lee Era

I might venture to some dc characters. But I don't think I will ever get any x-men. Because if I got one, I would want all of them! Haha

I salute those who are trying to complete an x-men collection! :clap:rock:angrycanu
