The second pic you posted Rulk, would've kicked ass if GG could have gotten the X-Men line. Seeing the Scar Jo TWS 1/4 suit, I think the detailing in that second pic would have been something up GG's alley.

Just got my waitlist converted about 10 minutes ago. I'm not too surprised because of the production pics. Either way, I don't mind. Nice to get the conversion.

Lol your second option would've worked, too. I think 4 things would've made this Jean incredible:

1. Put her on a rock base to match Cyclops
2. Change her leg position to fit the rock base that would've matched Cyclops...how awesome would that have been to have these as an actual complimentary pair?
3. Eyes with pupils and green iris'
4. Red hair

Then they would've had a knock out.

Aww man...good ideas. Now I feel a little sad. Truthfully I am relying on pathfinder to do a base for Jean and Cyclops. I don't have a single x base on display in my collection

1, 3 and 4 are easy fixes. I'm waiting for Pathfinder base as well and will definitely have her hair and eyes repainted.

2 is actually a great idea and totally doable if you have a good sculptor to change her leg.

If someone felt bold I think cyclops already has a large base. I think she could easily peg in somewhere on it

Yeah the closer to release the more excited I'm getting. I think she is really going to add to my X Men collection. In a way...she will complete it

The pose is pretty awkward. Looks good from one angle IMO. I love how they hit her with red lighting in their production pics lol. Still at her price, not the worst investment. If I didn't have XM Phoenix on PO I would prob jump on the WL.

I guess because I am getting the XM Phoenix I enjoy this piece more. I'm not expecting anything awesome...just a basic Jean Grey to fill the lineup

I think if this is your only X-Men piece, the pose doesn't work. On the other hand, if you are putting her in a lineup with other pieces, then it is not so bad and works. Definitley not a stand alone piece, but what will invariable be a sought after complimentary piece down the road.
