I guess because I am getting the XM Phoenix I enjoy this piece more. I'm not expecting anything awesome...just a basic Jean Grey to fill the lineup
I second this.

I think if this is your only X-Men piece, the pose doesn't work. On the other hand, if you are putting her in a lineup with other pieces, then it is not so bad and works. Definitley not a stand alone piece, but what will invariable be a sought after complimentary piece down the road.
And this.

The pose is pretty awkward. Looks good from one angle IMO. I love how they hit her with red lighting in their production pics lol. Still at her price, not the worst investment. If I didn't have XM Phoenix on PO I would prob jump on the WL.

Yes, highly doubt you can sell her at the PO price. Just too many other statues out there now that offers more .

Yes a complimentary piece is the perfect word to capture my thoughts.

This is my only x-men piece and i love the pose and all.

I think it will (referring to the ex of course), look at the travesty that was rouge premium format 'if' you can find one on ebay it goes for a bit above retail. The way many feel about jean is the way i feel about rouge pf, i think the pose is awkward, and also has an odd facial expression, i hope sideshow revisits rouge.

Lastly i envy those getting SS and XM jean.

To be honest it's some of these small es niche pieces that go on to grow in value

The reason I'm getting this. One, it's Jean and I'm a fan of Jean, and while an awkward statue it's not terrible. Two, I'm just a fan of X-Men. The line up, despite its various mishaps, will look awesome all together.

And what other "line" from SS features this many team members all in the costumes they wore with each other representing one particular (and mega popular) era? Certainly not Avengers, and barely JL. At least the X-Men PFs are getting that much right (except for Storm, but who knows, a white Jim Lee costume could happen yet).

Green Lantern, Vision...point proven.
